Best prickly pear bar-b-que ever! Soooo good. We'll keep going back as along as they have this on their menu. Served with delicious tepary beans, and salad with prickly pear dressing.
Drove there today and it was closed! So disappointed. Hope it reopens soon, cause it is great!
Terrible customer service; always out of Tortillas.
Great place to try authentic Tohono O'odham cuisine
Food is delicious! Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait, but it worth it.
The chicken wrap and the quesadilla are some of the best I have had. Excellent service and perfectly prepared. Perfect lunch after visiting the Tohono O'odham Nation Culture Center.
Amazing price. Great food, excellent presentation. Most importantly - amazing taste! Try the quesadilla and prickly pear chicken sandwhich.
Very tasty and interesting. Amazing what can be done with beans, and more beans.
Be sure to ask for their special hot sauce, it livens up the beans a lot. Very unique (and great) flavor to it.
Seriously, we enjoyed trying the local cuisine and would eat there again.
CLOSED AT 7:15 am on Monday
I rolled into Sells shortly after 7AM. The plan was to stop here for breakfast at the Desert Rain Cafe. The place had been recommended to me by a fellow hiker in the Tucson Hiking MeetUP Group for which I lead hikes. The Desert Rain Cafe web site clearly states they are open "Monday Friday 6:30am until 3:00pm".
But, they were closed. I have since contacted via email Brian Hendricks who is the manager about the closure. I have yet to receive a reply.
