It's huge. But the event we attended didnt have enough big screens for the whole audience.

Located in the historical city of Lahore, the Gaddafi Stadium, named after the Libyan leader, was completely renovated during 1995-96 ready for the 1996 World Cup. Designed by the famous architect Nayyar Ali Dada who modelled it on the Mughal School of red hand-laid brickwork and arches, the new stadium is completely covered with plastic seating rather than concrete benches. The lower portion under the stands has been enclosed and converted to shops for boutiques and offices. This was the first stadium in Pakistan to be equipped with modern floodlights which have their own standby power generators. Modern facilities for the media are also provided.

Outside, there are numerous very nice restaurants. All worth a shot. Nearby, there are several other stadiums and an performing arts center. Must visit - even if there are no matches on!

It's great only if you don't visit in monsoon season. It sucks in moon soon as it's flooded in knee deep water

Expensive restaurants with all sorts of unhygienic food, a sports complex, commercial place in the center of the city. People feel enjoying in here due to open air sitting places. Waiters try to rob customers by overcharging if they r not paying attention to the details of bills . I would go there once in a year or so just for the sake of visiting an old place with buddies.
