A Painful Experience Made Worse by This Firm
My mother passed away in September 2024 due to a fall that was never properly reported—an unimaginable loss for my sisters and me. In our search for justice, I was referred to Clinesmith. At first, they seemed compassionate and capable. For the first couple of weeks, I truly believed they cared and would help us pursue accountability.
But nearly a year has passed, and that hope has turned into deep disappointment. I spent over $200 mailing documents they never confirmed receiving. I sent more than 20 emails to the woman assigned to our case—no response. Months later, I called the firm only to learn that the attorney we were working with had left, and the new contact had no knowledge of our case or even my mother’s name.
Now, after all this time, I receive a letter stating they will no longer represent us. Why wait a full year to say that? Why let time slip away when it could now be too late to take action?
This experience has been horrific. Losing our mother was devastating enough. Being misled and ignored by a firm that promised to help only added to the pain. We deserved better.
