I was denied healthcare yesterday at The Christ Ho...

I was denied healthcare yesterday at The Christ Hospital because of My Medical Disorders. The medical disorders I have make wearing a mask impossible. When I arrived, without a mask, nothing was said to me. I was checked in and treated as normal. Imagine My Surprise 30 minutes later when everything changed. When I was called back I was asked to wear a mask, I told him that I have medical disorders and I explained to him what disorders I have and that they make it harmful for me to wear a mask. He then said it was hospital policy that I have to wear a mask or I cannot be seen. I again told him I cannot due to medical reasons. He left for a brief minute and came back and again told me that it was hospital policy and if I did not wear a mask I could not be seen. I was not offered any alternatives or reasonable accommodations. His tone and facial expressions pretty much said it for me. He cared absolutely nothing about me as a patient and only about the hospital policy! I was just simply treated like I didn t matter and told if I do not put a mask on then I could not be seen, essentially meaning I could not receive the medical care I needed. I had no choice, but to leave. I have no control over having a disorder or disease. Even when there was a mandate by Governor DeWine it excluded those of us with a medical condition or a disability that made it harmful to cover our face. If I had been wearing oxygen, would the policy still be enforced? I was just so upset that I left the hospital in tears because of the way I was treated. There was no concern or regard for My Health at all. This was no different than being discriminated against for My Race or Culture. It is not right. Everyone is different. We all have different health care concerns. There is no one size fits all. Not everyone fits into the same mold. There are people with Asthma, COPD, Lung Diseases and other health problems that could literally kill somebody if they covered their mouth. It is heartbreaking to see anyone treated this way. I have health conditions that I cannot control and I cannot cover My Face, so at least now I know that I cannot be treated by My Doctor, until such time as this policy is no longer in force. I also now know that should an emergency arise, not to be taken to Christ because I can t wear a mask so I am sure I would be left on the sidewalk for the sake of policy. No one should ever be made to feel like they are less of a person and unworthy because of an illness they have no control over. I didn t ask for the health issues I have. It just is what life is. So if you have an illness that prevents you from covering your face, I would choose another hospital!!

Sometimes we just have to go for tests and when we do, I need Doctors and Nurses X-ray techs who can find read not miss anything and fix a problem if it s a problem or not,I further Moore like leaving a place knowing,I have been with the very best no matter, how large or small, and have the correct information and if needed care and or surgery! and be treated with the greatest care. I am self employed in the restoration of Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motor Cars and Several different types/ brands so I need to get back to work ASAP and can t afford incorrect time down to be able to return to work, our Company was founded in 1934 and with a young son as a apprentice it s a must be to be at work.

Broke my hand in Spring 2021. Was the first time I had visited a hospital in nearly a decade and first time I had ever fractured any bones. Dr. Bryan Beutel, Kayla, Maryanne, and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful every visit from surgery to all of the followup appointments. I also had physical therapy with Susan Efkeman. Her and her staff were just as wonderful, welcoming, and clear with communication. After visits to both the Liberty, and Montgomery locations I m also very appreciative of all the courteous staff I encountered at both facilities. Thank you all for making a stressful experience as comfortable as possible.

I went in for a "same day surgery". I can not say enough good things about this place. The signage made it easy to get around (except in the parking lot where it seems the floors are labeled backward). Registration was quick and easy. Check in for my surgery was so quick too. The nurses before and after my procedure were PHENOMENAL! Rhonda in "same day surgery" was absolutely my favorite but Katie, Jennifer, etc were fantastic too. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I have had 4 children at 4 different hospitals but Christ was hands down the best. Compassionate & caring staff, very attentive to my needs. Can't say enough good things about this hospital. Definitely the best in Cincinnati!

I delivered my third child here and I had a wonderful experience! L&D and postpartum recovery were amazing!! All of the nurses made us feel comfortable. The doctor was amazing and acted quickly when my daughters heart rate began to decline. Staff has a lot of knowledge and I highly recommend this hospital.

My interactions with Dr. Sinclair have been positive. I am expecting my first and its a beautiful experience. I had truly hoped we could hear the HB for longer, it is only audible until the rate is calculated which takes seconds. I saw our baby on the flat screen for the first time moving around and thought I could record the movements and we were refused. Hopefully this helps the next first time parents know what to expect.

It's disappointing I have to leave only two stars when they have two amazing anesthesiologists helping them in labor and delivery. I would NOT recommend having your baby here. When you check in to have your baby, the nurses are amazing. It's not until AFTER you deliver is when you come into problems. I truly feel like some postpartum depression starts with the aftercare nurses here. Making you feel like you failed. You are doing it wrong. They make you feel like you don't have a choice in the care of you or your child. It's their way or no way. And another problem with that is every nurse has a different opinion in what is right and wrong. This is my second delivery here and I am so glad after I'm "allowed" to be discharged because here, you aren't allowed to leave by your choice, I never have to deliver here again. But I will forever express my horrible experiences with any mom that wants to hear.
