I went here to see a specialist for what I have from Alabama. This place is incredible. They have so many resources here! The doctors explain everything here to a T.

From the top surgeons and nurses to the parking attendants and maintenance staff I was always treated with respect. Medical staff is the most knowledgeable, kind and compassionate and since my child needed treatment- this was definitely where I was most comfortable .
Children s Hospital of Philadelphia is one of the best hospitals in the region with huge infrastructure to take care of kids. Emergency department is very helpful and friendly to the patient and the attendant. My recent experience with my kid is amazing. Right after check-in they started to examine him and initiate the treatment. Within few moments my boy felt better and he looked brighter and active.
Though this hospital takes care of a huge population in the area, still they maintain a very good standard of hygiene and cleanliness. I hope they will continue to keep doing great job to the community.
03/08/2021 - This is a very children's hospital. Very nice staff works here. Clean hospital. Great cafeteria with awesome food and the best is the ginger soy sauce shedded chicken rice bowl!! Great gift shop with lots of selection. The parking garage is very tight. Large vehicles not recommended. $4 with a validated ticket or the price varies by hours. Excellent hospital would recommend to everybody!!

It's a shame how they portray that they are pillars of the community but, they are really just an average Hospital that doesn't care. They are out for only one thing the reserves. The doctors, and managers play clueless when asked about important concerns. They have this household name but care less about the patient or the worker. I will never take my kids here again. Phonies, and script readers that's all they are at this Hospital. They are solely numbers people and you can never trust people who just think about numbers all day. They will sell water to a whale.
A gem in the healthcare network of the Delaware Valley. The few times( thankfully) we've had to bring my son here it has been a positive experience. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Appointment times were always close to being met. Pro tip- allow time for parking and traffic in the area.
Back in the late 1980's my daughter was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and was placed on Dilantin. Her pediatrician requested she be admitted to CHOP. I don't know what their policy is today but they refused to admit her then. Two weeks later she passed. I am not blaming CHOP for her death, however, a few months later we started getting mailings from CHOP. As you can imagine this didn't do us any good since we were still heavily grieving. Back then I was able to call them and asked to be removed from their mailing list and it seemed to work. Today 9/24/21, I received literature from them about a new location being opened. I'm sure this is a fine facility and am not commenting on all the good work they do. However, by receiving this mailing it has dredged up a lot of bad memories as you can imagine. Unlike the late 1980's I was unable to get an actual live person to speak to in order to permanently remove my name from their mailing list and had to leave a voice mail and according to them, unable to e-mail them my request. This is just a sign of our times with little personal attention. How is my name still in their system and why have I suddenly after 30 years gotten random information from them addressed to me personally? Only time will tell if they remove my name from their mailings. As I stated before, I am not commenting on all the good they do for children, I am just frustrated with them starting to send me information about CHOP again after I explicitly asked them to stop decades ago. I never would have written this review if they hadn't started mailing me again.
Best doctors, One of the top hospitals in the world for children , the doctors and nurses are so nice and wonderful they will go out of the way to make sure patient is healthy and parents are calm and know everything about their child,
If u have a child that needs any speciality care "chop" is the place!
