I had worked for 2 months at the Center and my time there was wonderful. The children within the classroom I was in were well supported by the classroom teachers and kept safe if necessary. They helped the children reach goals and graduate. The staff made the atmosphere very welcoming to all children and always found ways to make activity time become important teaching moments for each kid. The teachers were extremely patient with the kids as well and always prioritized their safety and well being.

I have been a volunteer in the therapeutic preschool for several years and so I ve had many many opportunities to observe and interact with the adorable littles that The Children s Center (TCC) serves. I can unequivocally say that TCC is making a positive difference in these children s lives. I see it every time I go. The understanding, empathy, professionalism and love that the staff expresses towards the kids is second to none. If I had a child that needed mental health services of any kind, TCC is the place I would look for help & support... and I would find it there. I highly recommend them.

I used to be a volunteer at the Children's Center (before COVID hit and it was no longer safe to bring extra people in). This place is truly the best. Everyone is so kind and caring. The staff has everyone's best interests at heart, and the kids are fun to work with. I loved to see how much growth they experienced in my time there.

The Children s Center really is the best of the best. All of the staff are compassionate and very knowledgeable. I ve seen firsthand the amazing good that they do for children and their families. They truly send children off better than they found them, with better coping skills and more developmental and emotional soundness. Their approach is individualized and evidence based, which is perfect for the wide range of difficulties the children are potentially facing. And because TCC is a nonprofit, they have the ability to subsidize costs for families who normally wouldn t be able to afford traditional counseling. I can t say enough good things about this wonderful organization!!

We were in the middle of our intake process and unfortunately had to pull the plug. One of the members of this center's executive leadership team takes her children to my kids' school and after observing my family for months, decided to verbally attack my kids' Mom in the lobby for doing something that she deemed inappropriate and illegal. She defamed us in a letter to several families within our school without ever speaking to us in person as I had requested.

The crazy thing, my family, and our school were trying to find a temporary fix for our son who was in the process of being assessed for Autism.

I had a conversation with the CEO who seemed very concerned about the incident but said it was a personal matter... even though the senior leader was writing from her professional capacity at the Childrens Center.

I would never want to place my child into the care of, or seek guidance from, any establishment who would not lead with compassion. I don't care if it's a receptionist or the CEO.. all employees in this field should know better. We should all be held to higher standards of human decency and compassion.... most especially in this area of care.

The Children's Center Changed Our Lives!! Jennifer is by far one of the most amazing people I have ever met! She understood my son's disability and helped me to understand too. My son did preschool here and his teachers Judy and Shaunna adored him, they had the training and personalities that worked perfectly for him. They are all very understanding and patient. I recommend The Children's Center to everyone I meet who has a child with similar disabilities as my own son!

We have benefited first from the Kearns location and now from this one. Two of our children have needed specialized care, both from therapies and from the therapeutic preschool. I cannot express how much of a difference for the better that The Children s Center has made for our family. I have seen so many families like ours, and with other specialized needs than ours, benefit from these programs.
