I love this place they have a great space and the people there are great and helpful you get to browse and read and the selection is very fun they have little stuffed reading buddies and there is no discrimination to class or abilities race or anything otherwise

Wonderful place to discover books - and you get to take one book per person home for free, too. I love how the books are attractively displayed by category, with covers facing outwards. You can combine this with a trip to Riverdale Farm, a nearby playground, or the Regent Park Aquatic Centre for even more fun.

I love The Book Bank!! You get free books!! I don't think anything can be better.

Like a food bank, but for children's books. This is a charity that gives free books (yes free!) to children from low income families, to keep! It's a cozy, safe space staffed mainly by volunteers who help kids chose their next book. Any child can take a book (one per day). If you are a family that is not low income, please make a financial donation to help keep the doors open. They are 100% funded by donations....no government funding.

Amazing place for the whole family. Eveone is so generously gifted one book per visit and the programming and facitlires are top notch. This will be a regular in our family in terms of outings for sure!

The Children s Book Bank is a wonderful place and the staff are amazing! My son loves coming to this cozy environment and seeing what books they will recommend to him. What a wonderful way to promote a love for reading!

This is a great place. A child can pick and get a book for free. Any people accompanying that child can also get a book for free. The are 3 rooms full of books. There is a storage room with additional books. They are sorted into different ages and even have a section for French language books. Children can also sit and read books. There is a protected lot outside to leave strollers while visit. Is is also located across from a full Toronto Public Library branch.

School trips can be booked.

There is no free WiFi but you can connect to the library's WiFi across the street.

This is a charming and happy place! Absolutely wonderful for young readers. You can go there to browse their great selection of books in a pleasant environment and bring home a free book of your choice. Accompanying adult also gets one for free.
