FANTASTIC. UNIQUE. WELL CONCEIVED. HAVE CAFETERIA, RESTROOM, SHOP, GARDEN AND ALL WHAT IS IN DISPLAY IS...FABOULOUS AND ALL FOR FREE!!!!!!

This free attraction has an amazing collection of books/ manuscripts from all over the world, the collection is multicultural, multiple religions are included in the collection and the library is arranged well as it is divided into sections, for example, Japanese, Egyptian, Islamic section...etc.

I enjoyed spending time at Chester Beatty and would visit again. Both permanent and special exhibitions were informative and interesting. Intricate patterns on Quran leather covers were super impressive.

Loved this museum! Great diversity of history. Amazing religion artefacts. Books with more then 2000 years!! At the top fair you even have a nice roof garden. Amazing experience ! Highly recommended.

I really enjoy the video with the biography of Chester Beatty, it helps to understand the great mind and heart that this man had.
I really recommend it, and if it is possible download the app to listen the description of every exhibition. Please if you take pictures only WITHOUT flash.

You have to go with time to enjoy the museum itself and the park outside the building.

Hidden Gem of Ireland. Best museum I have ever been too. Jesse was the best guy to talk to there and he is the security guy. He made me want to learn more about this guy. I was just wondering around the museum by myself. He was helping out a group. I heard his genuine love for his job. Made me join the group. I was amazed at the collection and it did not scratch the surface of what they had in his collection. I am impressed and happy I found this place. The surprising part was it was free. Yes free forever. Truly a hidden GEM

Great collection of rare books and manuscripts really gives you and insight into different religions and cultures

Chester Betty Library is a wonderful place to visit. Housed in the grounds of Dublin Castle, it contains stunning exhibitions of Asian and Islamic Art, Books and cultural implements. A gorgeous Cafe and great shop make this a great place for visitor and local alike.

One of my favourite museums. Balance maintained through the whole enterprise. Nice temporary exhibitions too.
