Amazing! What a treasure of a hotel. We had a 5 star vacation in our overnight trip.

Quaint and casual feel. Comfortable room. Great lounge for evening gatherings with friends. Nice breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

Surprised my fiance with a night at the Charmant. Wonderful experience right on the river. The rooms are charming and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend the Charmant. Katie and Tiffany were very accomadating and the Valet staff extremely professional.

More than once we have stayed at the wonderful charmont hotel and after our last stay, we just had to leave a review.

The staff is polite professional and charming # refreshing! The river view room we stayed is awe all kids of phenomenal.

We had a wonderful meal sitting at the zinc bar watching the chef preparing the food.

It is humbling and awesome to see an organization that actually does EVERYTHING right.

We will be back!

Food beyond belief, a little expensive but worth it. Wait staff second to none. Top notch drinks. Well worth a visit. If possible, have a drink at rooftop.

A beautiful boutique hotel near the river and downtown. Quick and friendly service upon arrival from Anna and Carver. We enjoyed the delicious restaurant for breakfast and drinks on the rooftop patio. Our room was clean and the bed super comfy. Noah was helpful and pleasant upon checkout. Can't wait to visit again!

One of my favorite hotels. Historical building beautifully renovated. Exposed brick, original refinished flooring from the old candy factory. Beautiful rooftop bar I with fire pits, and cozy seating. Greatat cocktails, trendy crowd.

The top floor patio was a very nice view of the city. they have really good mojietos made with mint that they grow from their garden on the roof. Very cool place

A truly charming hotel with a great restaurant and coffee shop on premises. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Once I was there, I didn t want to leave.

I look forward to my next visit to La Crosse to give me an excuse to visit this hotel again.

The hotel was very classy. The drinks were well made but expensive.

All the staff I came in contact with personally and over the phone were very friendly and helpful. I had a minor discrepancy on my credit card bill and it was fixed right away. Beautiful hotel, awesome food and drinks, wonderful view of the river. A+

Me and my girlfriend stayed the night here for vacation. The service was wonderful, they had a Valet come and get our car for us. The rooms were perfectly clean, the beds made nice, and everything was spaced out and comfortable. The shower and the bathroom were HUGE! Breakfast room service was also really nice, we let the lady in and she set our food down for us, confirmed everything was right, we signed the bill and off we went. When we left the Valet brought our car back to us. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away for the night or traveling.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. Rooftop bar, lobby bar, and restaurant are all wonderful.

The coffee bar and seating area was fantastic. The batista was knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff could not have been better. The room was upscale and very comfortable. They even knew my dog's name each time we brought him through the lobby. Our dog was welcome in the parlour where we were able to have excellent food and cocktails.

A gem of a hotel and would be a worthy match to any boutique hotels in the big cities.

Rooftop food doesn't start till 5pm. Tasty pizza, pricy beers. Metion it's your birthday, and they will give a drink or dessert for free. Atmosphere was great to celebrate a birthday.

Excellent place I really want to stay in the hotel on this visit I was only able to stop in to check out the coffee and chocolate selection.

This place is just simply amazing. The lunch menu is out of this world. Drink menu is fun, with something for every palette. Check out these awesome photos we took!

Stopped in for breakfast, the host was rude and the food was ok. Way over priced and small portions. However the waitress was friendly so that's a plus.

I went to the Charmant Rooftop for drinks with friends. Not only was it a beautiful, fun atmosphere, but the staff with quick with our drinks and friendly. We did not order food but the pizza looked and smelled delicious! Already looking forward to my next visit to the Charmant.

We went for a new year's Eve dinner and it was amazing. The food was great. The staff is very friendly and ready to serve you. The cooks are great and the bartenders are friendly. Love this place!

The Charmant brunch menu was great, everyones dish looked amazing. The kitchen did a terrific job and the serving staff was friendly.

We had the four course meal on valentine's day weekend, Bailey was our sever and she was great.. very knowledgeable. Plus she said we were her favorite table, no big deal ;)

The Charmant is such a cool place I have spent time doing work in the lobby and it is very relaxing. I also enjoyed going to the bar it has such a great atmosphere.

I have been to a lot of hotels around the world, and this one became my new favorite. Its everything I've ever wanted a hotel to be: quaint, beautiful, tasteful, cozy and relaxing. It used to be a chocolate factory, and they really did well to preserve the concepts of that. I would describe it as "recycled chic." Trendy and tasteful.

My recent birthday gift was a trip to this charming, boutique hotel from my loving husband. We were joyfully greeted by the valet and very pleasant reservation desk staff. I squealed with excitement when he placed two artfully decorated chocolates on a white plate in front of us. From the check-in snack to the decor of the hotel you will find hints of this charming hotels past as a bustling candy factory. If the exposed brick, original wood floors and old photos of staff working in the factory could talk I'm guess they would've never imagined the factories current identity.
The room was warm and inviting and the shadow boxes on the walls of original candy packaging further told the story of the hotels past.
Our only regrets with our visit is that we could not visit the rooftop bar due to the season and that we didn't dine at the restaurants in the lobby. After check-in we opted to explore downtown LaCrosse instead. The restaurants appeared very busy at both our check-in & out.
We would definitely come back again. I see visions of the rooftop bar & pizza grill in our future!

This restaurant is top notch - the service is excellent, the food is wonderful, the space is a super cool renovated furniture warehouse, and the location close to the river is beautiful. We go there every year for Mother's Day, and I would recommend The Charmant for a romantic dinner, impress a date, or any special occasion you'd like to celebrate.

We went to have Breakfast and the food and service was great. Selection are small but plentiful. We'll be back

I've had drinks and breakfast there a few times and its always been a great experience. The prices are a little higher but it's very good quality and a great atmosphere. Very welcoming with friendly staff. I've also enjoyed the coffee shop many times. Excellent coffee with reasonable prices. They also always have free fruit water in the coffee shop.

Charming truly does describe The Charmant. The renovation of an historic building has been done exceptionally well. What's been saved can be appreciated while enjoying the modern comforts of a first class hotel.

One of the most beautiful rooms I ve stayed in (5th floor) with walkout private balcony overlooking the city and river. Would love to come back in summertime!

Good coffee to go with a very nice array of breakfast options. Great salads, and a menu that changes options daily. Prepared by chefs in view of the dining room. Great outdoor views of the river.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Charmant! It was luxurious and private. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Visited the rooftop for wine and stone oven fired pizza. Pizza was very good. Atmosphere was great for La Crosse. Wine was overpriced significantly compared to other restaurants in La Crosse.

Best bathrooms in La Crosse. The hotel is immaculate. Attached bar and restaurant are intriguing. Get the steak frites. Come here and relax. Likely worth it for any weekend stay in this river town.

Bad Guest Service, Noisy Room, Wait 10 Mins for Hot Water.
Hotel had a "private event" going on when we arrived. Front desk staff had little interest in us even being there at check-in. Although we called headed asking if they had a restaurant we find it closed for the private event and no bar space available either. I will say the morning staff were much more pleasant.My room was very noisy as apparently I got checked in to a room right above the bar and could hear every syllable and out burst. (prob should have checked a person from this event in this this noisy room instead).Nice walk in shower.....once it got hot water. Had to let the water run 8 to 10 minutes to get anything above luke warm. Also, the shower door handle came off in my hand.Road construction galore. Not the hotel's fault but be sure you figure out which road to come down to reach the place.The hotel was clean. The decor will be appealing to many. It was a little too much Martha Stewart's Barn for me.

Yoga with momosas and fruit on La Crosse's only rooftop lounge is what I signed up for and paid a higher price for only to find out that despite advertising rooftop yoga for over a month they have been doing yoga on the grass in the middle of Riverside Park. Afterwards the momosas and fruit weren't even on the rooftop because of a wedding. Sincerely disappointed in both false advertising by the charmont.

Not sure if it's OK to review a hotel that you've not spent a night at, but I'm gonna do it anyway. I've dined at the restaurant, had coffee in the cafe in the lobby, had drinks at the bar and plenty of interaction with the front desk staff (we've hosted guests staying at the hotel) and from start to finish it's been a great experience. Staff is friendly, restaurant is good and coffee is above average. Looking forward to an excuse to spending a night here.

The hotel is clean, unique and Beautiful! The staff was amazing. This hotel has definitely figured out the art of customer service. The night we stayed, a young lady Madison, was working at the front desk. I was beyond impressed with her knowledge about the hotel, her enthusiasm and attitude towards her job and employer.

I will definitely be back.

A beautiful establishment. Presentation outstanding. However the food that night was quite bland. Not what we expected.

Our company Christmas party was here. Food was ok but not enough of it.

The inside is what you'd expect from the outside. Swanky and posh. While the menu is limited with a hand full of dishes, there are specific and spectacular. If you're a picky eater, this might be a desserts and drinks place. Otherwise, accomodations were lovely and clean. Staff was very friendly and patient. Coronavirus protocols were appropriate and in place.

A great place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The accomodations and staff were exceptional and made it a very special 2 day stay. The food was good..especially our breakfast. We would definatly come back again

Has beautiful rooms, bathroom was spacious, shower was awesome, I loved staying there. 10/10 would go again
