Amazing place that helps neglected and abused teens. I have been a volunteer there for about 18 years, so that itself should speak about how I feel about this place and the great work they do for children. I have seen it go through many changes over all the years I have been volunteering there, and it just seems to get better and better! Kudos to the dedicated staff members!

Rude people. I called to ask a simple question then I heard the phone slam. To my surprise they were still on the line. I heard a male voice said 'I hung up on him' then I heard him and a woman's voice laughing. I also heard other slur languages with their conversation. Unprofessional.
Staff wasn t discreet in any way, a lot of the staff was very two faced, they kept getting rid of the good ones and keeping the ones that didn t genuinely care for the kids.

Ate chicken every other day, unhealthy buttered down food . Everyone gains weight being there know that much . Staff gossip like teenagers and medicine gets forced down throats or restriction occurs . They try to help with mental health but decrease it even more sadly. Most staff even admit there only there for the check instead of helping foster children in the only place they can call home .
CCYA is a space that assists adolescents and young adults through positive reinforcement & focused growth. This private facility fosters meaningful relationships with the youth and tries to best prepare them to succeed in today's society. The grounds also feature roughly 2 acres of gardening space overseen by the Cobb County Master Gardeners featuring perennials, annuals, and native plants. They were featured in the 2019 Garden Tours! A lotta good going on here.
