A great experience if you can catch it while you're in Calgary. The food vendors try to out-do each other every year by offering crazy and seemingly mandatorily unhealthy food. Worth going if you don't mind deep fried food and don't mind spending a fortune at the same time.

We attended the Calgary Outdoor Adventure Show (2018) as exhibitors. It was an awesome experience! The staff was very helpful, easy to go in and out to setup. I highly recommend Calgary Stampede as a place to exhibit your business through those expo shows. (We had a great time teaching people how to fly drones!).
We re hoping to be there next year. Hopefully we ll see you there too!

Amazing experience! The rodeo and every event is incredible. There are other events as well, like a dog show and dances from Bollywood and other parts of the world. Great food and many games, loved the slushies.

Stampede is a once a year only event that brings lots of fun to the Calgarians, there are different events every day and you ll eat tasty food and snacks as well. Be prepared to spend around $100 per adult here because you ll pay $20 average just for admission plus the food you consume and tickets for the rides. It is worth it the money and time you spend there anyway.

Honestly, I stayed away for the stampede for the last decade. I hate how getting around the city is just painful. I hate how busy the city is. We finally just decided to embrace it instead of being so misanthropic and I am glad I did.

What can you really say about the greatest outdoor show on earth? There's something for everyone and it changes every year. During the actual stampede, my personal favourite is the deep fried Oreos.

Throughout the rest of the year, there are so many different shows and events to draw you in. I'm looking forward to seeing the new proposed 17ave extension into the grounds.

Parking for events can be challenging, so always give yourself plenty of extra time. Transit is a very logical alternative.

So many rides to go on, so many food choices to chose from. So much fun. I love that this time brings out people from all over to come visit. Also great place to bring your kids since there are rides for them and areas for them to play in. Great family fun. It's sad it only happens for 10 days a year. Highly recommended to go when it comes.

Parking is not cheap. Take the train and bring a warm coat and gloves if it's winter. Also very good shoes, it's super slippery in the parking lots in the winter. The events there are fun and family friendly.

The Calgary Stampede is not what it used to be. It has always been and is now worse full of obnoxious drunk people stepping all over your feet, slurring, throwing up and pushy, excessive loud music outdoors. On top of this I had an issue with First Aid and Stampede administration. I have been here the past 20 years and this year is my last. I had a band aid on my toe before I arrived to the park on Friday. The wind picked up and my band aid was coming off. I just walked into the First Aid room and they refused to give me just a piece of tape to hold my existing band aid. They stated they wanted all my personal information before they could give this to me? I said really, for a piece of tape, not a new band aid but a simple piece of tape I have to give you my personal information? I said this is how identity theft occurs. I stated there is no need for this as I was not injured here, I just want some tape to hold for the night. I then left proceeded to contact administration, all closed till Monday. The host booths were useless too. I ended up leaving with only being there for 20 mins and paid high admission fee. I won't be back.
