Was so happy to find this place. In a city the size of Toronto there appear to be only two places to repair your cable box, assuming of course, you think the rental rates are silly. One is in Thornhill and they only work on PVRs (expensive) and don't really want to talk to you on the phone. This is the other shop, central location, and they will work on any cable box and you can phone them too. I took in my 10 year old box, non PVR, which had been working fine until a family member plugged a space heater into the same power bar as the TV. After the surge it worked on 90% of the channels but not "on demand" and about a dozen misc channels would not "tune." CSI turned the unit around in 3 business days -- wow -- and gave me back the old parts, a bunch of fried capacitors. $56 all in. Efficient.

Fixed my Rogers Cable PVR which never worked properly from the day I bought it from Rogers in spite of several complaints to Rogers.
