I previously worked there from about 2006 - 2012 (rough estimate) and really enjoyed my time there. I had so much fun connecting with my coworkers and the wonderful members. I did everything from Banquet Server all the way to pool deckhand and I have always enjoyed working with my comrades. We were always like a tight knit family. Now of course, this was not play, it was work and boy did we work! While we did bust our butt from the membership and guests, most were appreciative on what we were doing for them and definitely understood the work behind the scenes was not easy. I loved to service the members and felt great knowing that we were able to provide that exceptional service. There is a reason why they CHOOSE to go to The Briar Club instead of other places for their events whether it being a lunch or a wedding. They choose TBC because we always strive to WOW our membership. This cam from the top to the bottom. Leadership and management was always there to help us out and if there was problem or something was not clear to the employees, they were pretty good in providing a fix/solution.

If you are looking for good, honest work and have a can-do attitude, do not hesitate to apply!

Also the food was great! So yea, that was a plus

I miss that place

Attended a luncheon for Compassionate Houston at this location. It seemed odd to be surrounded by such opulence as we discussed the underserved population.

The lunch was delicious and the accommodations were impeccable.

Mixed greens salad, grilled salmon with steamed vegetables and an amazing chocolate cupcake with mousse icing.

I've been going to the Briar Club back before it was remodeled. The burgers are great and the pools are cool.

Cozy, warm, relaxing, romantic, beautiful.
Food delish, staff wonderful, easy on the eyes.
Waiter was extremely nice.
More than I expected just simply put beautiful, Wonderful, Amazing.
