Went for tea with the family and was seated originally in the car park, advised was too cold for children and was moved into main outdoor seating area

Ordered food and when it arrived it was in a cardboard box with a wooden knife and fork, I understand there is a pandemic but I fully don't understand why they can't give you proper plates, especially for the cost off there food!!

Would avoid during pandemic due to the cost off food and the camping style dining experience.

Also won't let you use the toilets and have to use the wooden shake in the car park which in all fairness looks like a scene from Nightmare on Elm Street!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

The Bowgie has had a make over 2020 and looks fantastic, same great place for food and drinks with even more tables outside now, fabulous views and dog friendly. Ideal location for a coastal walk and finish off with a drink and a bite.

The Bowgie has been beautifully renovated. They were fully Covid compliant. The app was very easy to download and use. The service was very good indeed. The only thing that disappointed was the fact there were no steak dishes on the menu.

Would have been 5 stars but there was only one toilet in the car park for everyone to use, not good for the amount of people there. However, food good, app easy to use and food and drink arrived very quickly. Staff friendly and helpful.

If anyone is thinking of booking here for a sunday dinner do it as early as you can or reserve them as they run out very quickly. Disappointed as it was one of the main reasons why we booked. When we asked why 4 dinners had been served after we had finished our meals we were told they had been reserved and paid for in the morning. I told the young girl this information should be made available on the app. She didnt appear to be bothered. Wont be going back

About The Bowgie Inn

The Bowgie Inn: A Pub with a View

If you're looking for a pub that offers stunning views of the Cornish coast, look no further than The Bowgie Inn. Located on West Pentire headland in Newquay, Cornwall, this pub is known for its breathtaking views overlooking Crantock Beach.

But The Bowgie Inn isn't just about the view. This pub also offers delicious food and a wide selection of real ales and local beverages. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal or just a quick drink after a day at the beach, The Bowgie Inn has something to offer.

One of the things that sets The Bowgie Inn apart from other pubs in the area is its commitment to using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. From fresh seafood to locally grown produce, this pub takes pride in supporting local farmers and producers.

In addition to its food and drink offerings, The Bowgie Inn also hosts regular events throughout the year. From live music performances to charity fundraisers, there's always something happening at this lively pub.

But what really makes The Bowgie Inn stand out is its location. Situated on West Pentire headland, this pub offers panoramic views of Crantock Beach and beyond. Whether you're sitting inside by the fire or outside on the terrace soaking up some sun, you'll be treated to some of the most stunning scenery in Cornwall.

Of course, with such an idyllic location comes plenty of competition from other pubs and restaurants in the area. That's why The Bowgie Inn has worked hard to establish itself as one of Newquay's top destinations for food and drink.

One way they've done this is by investing heavily in their online presence. With an informative website that showcases their menu items and upcoming events, as well as active social media accounts that engage with customers on a daily basis, The Bowgie Inn has made it easy for people to find them online – which is crucial when it comes to outranking other websites.

Another key factor in their success has been their commitment to providing excellent customer service. From friendly staff who are always happy to help out with recommendations or special requests, to prompt service even during busy periods – every aspect of your experience at The Bowgie Inn is designed with your satisfaction in mind.

So if you're looking for great food and drink served up alongside some truly spectacular views of Cornwall's coastline – look no further than The Bowgie Inn!
