What a fantastic bookstore! It defies description. It is a used bookstore, a new bookstore, cozy but with a wise selection. A great kids selection from easy readers to you adult. I spent an hour with my four kids, and we walked away with a nice selection of books for each of us, from Fancy Nancy to Journey to the Center of the Earth and the Once and Future King. The booksellers are knowledgeable and helpful. I only wish we lived closer!

I haven't ever come in looking for a specific title, but I always find something interesting. Good selection of board books for babies and options for early readers and young adults too. There's a good variety of fiction and non-fiction for adults as well. And the staff is very friendly!

Excellent used book store. Great selection, great prices. Urban fiction sometimes wrongly classified as romance novels, but that's a minor gripe. Store credit offered in exchange for books. :-)

This is basically the book store from my childhood. Reasonably priced books, great selection. You could wander around in here for hours. If you go to the Aeronaut beer garden and bring your bracelet, they'll even give you a free book here!

Great selection, great pricing. Online order process was efficient. They even held my order for me an extra day or two when I couldn't make it in immediately. Can schedule a browsing appointment if desired.

Great book store for used books especially children's series.

Myself, my mom, daughter and aunt have been frequenting this place for years. For a cozy local shop, the selection is surprisingly thorough. Stock is constantly replenished and always au courant. And everyone working here is so kind, honest, and diligent. Prices are more than reasonable. Oh, and they'll order anything you request, on the rare occasion it is not carried or in stock. The Book Rack is a rare gem in which I have always felt quite grateful to spend my money.

A cute little nook of a used book shop. Prices are great, especially with store credit from bringing in your own books to sell. They do prefer fiction to nonfiction when you're selling, so keep that in mind when clearing off your bookshelves.

It's an amazing place - they can tell you whether they have a book or not, & usually can find it in a few minutes. Used books are half off the cover price - even if that price was set 20 years ago! They carry new books as well. Really fun place to go & hang out.

Such a great family owned business they deff treat everyone kindly and are so knowledgeable on past and present books and history etc never had a issue such a relaxing place to escape to very rare gem to find a place like this where they make you feel like family I come for a distance when I have other places closer because it's such a wonderful place to visit!!! 5 stars keep up the good work!!! I really like having a local used book store. The range of books is a little limited, hence 4 stars, but that is to be expected with small stores I think. Instead of going there to find one specific book, expect to have a fun search for hidden gems

My favorite local book store. You can get credit or money for your used books if they're in good condition (and not the millionth copy of something they already have or something no one's likely to want). Mostly used books, some new and discounted, some cards and games. Very helpful people + they track what you buy and have saved me from re-buying books

I think of this place as a favorite, local gem. There are lots of used books, especially for the younger readers. It s perfect for when you are waiting on lunch (la taqueria is right across the street, or woori next door). I like to drop off my books, rack up a credit, and offset future purchases. I think you can offset up to 50% of used book prices. In any case, if you love books, you should stop by!

Nice charming secondhand book store. You can exchange your used books for store credit for up to 50% off used books and 25%off new ones. Decent selection of sci Fi, fantasy, action, historical fiction, romance, mystery and children's books. (They have some cookbooks, art books and graphic novels but fairly small collection of those)

I absolutely love the place. You can turn in books you own for credit and buy books with that, and also, it's just a fun place to hangout. They have such a late variety of books there, of all different genres.its great!

Friendly people offering lots of used books and a small but good selection of new books, plus they take orders by phone or email too. As of November 2020 they offer curbside pickup and a small number of people can go into the store. Support your local independent bookstore!

Every square inch of this place is filled with used books, most in almost new condition, at very low prices. Trade in policy sounds like a good deal, going to try it out after I finish the ones I just picked up.

Great little used and new bookstore. Right in Arlington Center. They ask you to pause at the door but they will let you in to browse. I have had no trouble getting in or having to wait in line. Go check it out and support local business during this down turn

I walked into the store and no one greeted me at all and I wasn't asked if I had any questions or needed help. I noticed that all the other customers in the store were being greeted, helped or having a pleasant conversation with staff. I bought some books and even then it wasn't a pleasant interaction like everyone else was having. I didn't get a thank you, did you find everything okay or have a nice day nothing. This is my first time ever writing a review for anything and I am only doing so because of how disappointed I am. Mind you this is not my first time there and not the first time I had the same experience. What really makes me upset is that all the other customers in the store including employees were Caucasian except me and that makes me scratch my head a little. I understand we are in Arlington but come on, I'm a paying customer just like the rest. I really didn't want to make it a race thing but I could only help but wonder how the interaction would have been if I were Caucasian as well. Despite that its a cool little bookstore, the employees seem sweet and great unfortunately I just didn't get that experience.

Wonderful local bookstore with great people. Mostly used paperbacks (lots of children s, science fiction, mysteries, classics, history., cookbooks... ) and nicely curated selections of new books, games, local authors, and some markdowns. They make a special effort to get school reading list books. You can trade in used books for part credit or donate the credit to a classroom teacher! (check first; their space is limited so they are selective about what they take).
