Need to upgrade the dining area. A little modern atmosphere.

Nice place. Probably could do a bit better on the whole social distancing thing. But can't fault the food one bit.

Dropped in en route to Dublin,Sat night and was very happy to hear great music.Thought I was at an Aslan concert! Great vibe about the place and everyone was into the great music.Fine pub and good attentive staff.Will drop in again and sample their food as the menu looks very good.

Change of menu increase in prices of each course smaller potions not the same atmosphere will check other options sad always liked the black bull

Visit for fathers dad breakfast. Lost one star as no beans with the full fry.

An absolute faultless meal. Healthy portions, perfectly prepared and cooked.
The staff were busy but always attentive and the atmosphere was a brilliant mixture between relaxed family meal and alive and energetic!
The chowder is particularly good in my opinion!

It was my first time in Drogheda with my husband 5 year old son and God son. We came across the Black Bull Inn by chance. We drove into the car park and found a space without a problem and was shown to a table in no time at all even though they were very busy. The atmosphere is relaxed with a touch of class. Our waitresses Abigail and Amy were brilliant, they showed knowledge of the bar and food menu and we're professional and friendly making us feel so welcome. They also knew to bring the children's meals first and kept the children entertained with colouring. The food did take a bit of time to arrive but it was worth it for the quality of ours meals. You could tell it is cooked from fresh no frozen or processed substitutes. I will definitely be back, maybe even this week as the boys are asking to go back tomorrow. If you live in Drogheda or visiting please give the Black Bull Inn a visit.

The place is wonderful, the meat dishes are excellent (especially the ribs) and even though it was quite packed and late, service was prompt, kind and with a smile.

Food and service are good. I like the garden. Real good little place for a few drinks with friends outside.

Took over an hour for food, 3 tables were seated and served their food within te time we were waiting for ours. Some Allergens were not even mentioned on the allergens list but we re confirmed by chef that they were in the food when asked, very unpleasant experience

There are only 3 ladies toilets, not wheelchair friendly

Used to have excellent food, service and atmosphere. Now prices have increased and portion sizes have diminished. It's no longer the number one choice for eating out as far as I am concerned.

Service was excellent, one of our group did not like the meal and the hostess handled the issue and did not charge for that serving. Other meals were good. Will definitely go back.

The Black Bull Inn always guaranteed a satisfying eating experience. Food is always excellent & the staff are friendly but very professional. There is a relaxing atmosphere, always welcoming, never hurried. For forty years we have celebrated all our special occasions there.

Brought my boyfriend for a meal he ordered the steak with no tomatoes as he has a allergy to them it came out with tomato they offered to change it took a hlaf an hour to come back out I was done my food at this stage then I ordered two brownies and they sent out someone else's dessert I won't be rushing back and there wine price list is wrong it says for a savigon blanc it's 4.95 charged 5.50 won't be rushing back

Really nice 3 course meal here today the wings and garlic bread to share ,roast rib of beef and all the trimmings and a sticky toffee pudding more hotel quality than pub .will definitely be back

Lovely food, beautiful restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Food on time and presented well. Caters for small kids too :)

The Black Bull Inn ignores their neighbours requests to turn down their music/football broadcasts when they decide to play them at top volume. I would not recommend supporting this business

Large family dinner. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was decent. Menu varied. The Bull is fairly consistent on providing good quality and value. Probably one of the best places in Drogheda. Recommended.

The Black Bull is a comfortable and welcoming place to eat.
The breakfast menu was extensive. So much to choose from. It took a while to make up my mind.

I can't recommend it enough.

The food was average at best. Tasteless dry burger. The fajitas had barely enough chicken in them for 2 of the 4 mini wraps that you got with the dish. The service was appalling, had to wait quite a long time to be served and about an hour for the table to be cleared. Wouldn't go back and would give a lower rating if possible.

Out side in the gardens are so nice to sit relax with a drink food is ok.

Food was good when it finally arrived at the table. Service between the starter and mains was far to slow. I wouldn't have minded if it was steak that was ordered but not for a burger

Food lovely .great choice on menu but seemed to b e short staffed as bit of delays between courses.maybe got there busy time .staff helpful even though busy.
