Loved this place - enjoyed a quiet, relaxing, but short weekend here back this summer. The pound ridge nearby was gorgeous for running and hiking. The food here was superb, with a lovely fire outside to relax at night. Loved the rooms and especially the bathrooms with a shower that had multiple shower heads and wonderful soaking tub - a dream!!!
It's only 12 minutes away for us, yet once you're there, you feel like you're in Vermont. Our favorite get away spot. Nancy is awesome. Highly recommend.
A lovely place to enjoy Mother Nature and be spoiled by luxury. Especially if your soul is in need of open green space, nature and pampering. However the rooms cost you quite a princely sum. Around $500 to $700 a night. We had lunch there the past summer, and it was delightful. Just loved being able to eat in the rustic garden. Reservations is essential, as it is a very popular lunch spot.
Ambience was nice as usual, service was prompt friendly and helpful. Personal fav as daughter Tara had her reception there.
My daughter and her family had reservation for 4 and when my husband and I decided to go they called and added the two of us. When we got there we could not be together. There were some tables that stayed empty for the entire time we ate but we had to eat on our own with our two grandchildren while I could not even see my daughter and her husband sitting on their own. Because of corona virus, the only way we can see each other is meeting for lunch or supper in the open. Is this the way you please a customer? Poor, very poor management and the food was not even great.

My husband and I stayed at this special inn for the first night of our honeymoon. The room was gorgeous - especially the bathroom with a beautiful soaking tub, marble heated floors, and a walk in shower. From the moment we arrived the staff treated us with the highest regard. When we stepped out to get our luggage they surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day and a congratulatory bottle of Prosecco. They set us up with dinner reservations for that evening. When we got back, we sat by the outdoor fire which was a wonderful experience. Overall, we were so happy with our stay at the Bedford Post Inn! Thank you!
What an amazing, beautiful spot. Our venue was cute, and quant. The staff was so friendly. Highly recommend.
