Wish the food was a bit better. Little hit and miss. Charcuterie board was terrible. Chicken burger was very good. Beef croquettes were ok. Lovely set up though. Looking forward to the regular menu again. Seems to have better options. Staff are really great! Everyone is so helpful and nice!

Obviously being in the midst of a pandemic meant that things were a bit uncertain but the steps taken by James Keenan and the team made us feel really welcome and went above and beyond during our stay. We stayed in one of the lodges which were lovely and spacious - amazing food and service with beautiful surroundings. Will definitely go back again.

What an absolute diamond of a find.
If you are ever wanting somewhere to eat out that has incredible tasting food, a cosy, friendly atmosphere and a beautiful setting, then this is a place you definitely want to visit. The food we ate here was off the scale.
Every mouthful we had, we didn't want to end. Book a table and sample their incredible food. ENJOY !
Came across this place by chance and was surprised on how amazing it was! Staff were lovely and seated us quickly even though they were busy. Beautiful outdoor dining on a slope surrounded by nature. Seating had blankets which was a cute addition for Al fresco dining. Got a roast which was the best we'd had in ages! Perfect lean cooked lamb, they nailed the roast potatoes (fluffy inside / crunchy outside & didn't taste like was sat round for hours as it usually does from pub roasts) and even cauliflower cheese included. Definitely recommend and would definitely return if in the area. Was a great find!
Fabulous sunday lunch , rare beef and delicious vegetables. A pudding of cinnamon meringue, poached pears and cream was amazing. I also had a Bloody Mary - the best I've ever had ! The decor is pleasing and the staff very attentive.

We have an enjoyable and delicious three course meal at the Beckford Arms. We booked a week in advance and good thing we did as it was busy! The service was exceptional as was the food! I d recommend the duck and the apple crumble!! We arrived earlier than our reservation and was able to get a drink in their heated garden area. I d definitely recommend a visit and we will return if we are ever in the area again!
This place is FAB! A great experience from start to finish. We sat on a sofa in front of the open fireplace whilst waiting (a short time) for our table. The food was absolutely delicious! Bar far the best roast I have had in a very long time! The starter was also lovely! I would also recommend the Bloody Mary. We are returning as soon as second lockdown is over :) You do need to book (obviously).
