Had an awesome experience from start to finish. Michelle was a pleasure to deal with and very informative. Her husband made the delivery very smooth... they definitely know what they are doing! Would highly recommend them for your shed purchase and their pricing was super competitive.
The best of the best. I would suggest these folks to anyone that needs an out building that is of top quality. When the town buys one for their own use it should be a clue that you will not find anything better. These folks are the real deal. They did everything on time with great quality and are extremely professional. I can't say enough to how pleased we are with the folks at the Barn Raiser. As I said they are the best.
Reached out to "The Barn Raiser" as I prefer supporting local over big box stores, they happen to be within 30 minutes of my location. I placed the order early July and was informed of a 6-8 week back up in orders.
Was contacted on Friday August 27th that the shed has arrived and is ready to be delivered. I have scheduled a delivery for the next available date, September 11th between the hours of 3-5pm.
September 11th came and I reached out to The Barn Raiser as I have not been contacted to confirm the date. I called at 11:44am to make sure the 3-5pm window was still valid. Was informed that that due to rain and weather conditions, the delivery schedule has shifted and the new window is... 12-2pm... 15 minutes later. I told them i could probably make the 2pm slot because... I am at work and didn't expect the delivery until at least 3pm. I arrived at 2:16pm to the location and the delivery individuals have already placed the shed in a location that was approximately 20 feet away from where I wanted the shed to be placed and facing in a different direction.
I have asked them to move it the 20 feet and align it but was informed that they are rushing to another delivery and the person could not wait and therefore will not move the shed to where I wanted it to be located. I was additionally informed that they can come back and for $100.00 additional they can move it to where i want it to be (the next available date for that would have been September 19th, 8 days later).
I insisted that I believe they should do it free of charge, given the whole debacle with the time change and no advanced notice form them, but they continued to refuse and offered to come back and pick the shed back up in a month in an ironic response to my request.
Given this atrocious customer service experience, I will not be supporting this business in the future and will look for alternatives.
The install quality was poor, and when I asked to have a door alined since it's so warped you could see light thru it. the worker said that's the way it is. Dave gave me a song and dance but no repairs. I need to hire someone to fix a one month old garage.
Just a sad bunch of communication errors that the owners of this business were quite rude about. If it s a simple transaction I guess they are OK anything that might require extra effort don t waste your time.

I just want to say what an awesome company to work with, I was looking for a certain swing and after checking online with the brochure i received from agway i found your number. You apparently use the same guy from Pa. but you were very willing to work with me on getting the starback swing even though you are based in N.Y. and I live in N.H. I received the swing but it wasn't the one I requested though no fault of yours you were willing to help rectify the situation and contacted the person in P.a. i very much appreciated your help with this. I will be receiving my swing in a few days. If I did live in N.Y this would probably be my new favorite place to shop!
First building I ever put up they made it easy on me they had a stamp blueprint I could take right to the town and they installed it in a weekend 24x30. 2 story gambrel garage.
We needed a shed badly and quickly and was able to browse Dave's entire lot which is huge! We found one onsite that matched our home perfectly! Delivery within a 30 mile radius is absolutely free which is amazing and with only 2 people and a magical trailer (believe me it was the highlight of our week) they delivered within a tight 2 hour window. Dave treated us like prized customers and walked us through the entire process. If you need a quality shed and like old school business practices, take a ride and check this place out!

Your guys made what I thought would be a complicated delivery look easy; they were very professional and courteous. I need to mention that trailer - amazing piece of machinery.
Ordering was fun and informative and the image was in my head but nothing like seeing the plan come to life. Anyone asks where to shop for a shed go nowhere else other than the Barn Raiser true to their name.

Excellent service, high quality materials, and great workmanship is what you get from the Barn Raiser. My husband and I just can t say enough good things about Dave and his builders. We had the best experience working with him, and are in complete awe of the speed and efficiency of his crew. They had to build our 28x36 2-story Dutch Barn garage onsite due to its size, so naturally we expected weeks of noisy construction and the usual scattering of nails, wood and other construction materials all around the site....but his crew was extremely punctual, quietly worked from sunup to sundown, were amazingly tidy, and actually completed the job ahead of schedule. We highly recommend the Barn Raiser, and would hire them again!
Got plans for a custom horse barn? Then go see Michelle and Dave at The Barn Raiser! We wanted a 20x20 low profile 2-stall barn. We drew up a floorplan. We brought our plans to The Barn Raiser, and also some competitors. Michelle took our plan, made a few suggestions that we never thought of, and promised a timely estimate. Michelle kept in constant contact with us during the "plan drawing and finalizing" stage. When the completely itemized estimate arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes! Every detail was there, including the bars and chew guards for the stalls!(Yes, some of the other places did respond with rather high estimates, but incomplete interiors.) We needed some documentation for our building permit, which Michelle made sure were supplied.
Michelle also recommended a "site prep guy" who we did hire and super pleased with the results. The barn arrived in 2 deliveries when promised. The finishing crew arrived a couple days later, worked all day and completed our beautiful barn, including the weather vane on the cupola! We were even left with a can of touchup paint! Dave and Michelle made it quite clear that if we had any problems that we should not hesitate to call them! So very glad our barn is a Barn Raiser barn! Many thanks to Michelle, Dave and their crew!
What can I say, I am impressed! The Barn Raiser exceeded all expectations and I could not have had a more pleasant experience working with Dave and company. Best quality and pricing, bar none. (and I do my research). Barn Raiser accommodated my changes and provided excellent communication and professionalism from beginning to end. If you are looking for a new building or structure, these guys are the way to go. Five Stars.
The Barn Raiser is where I purchased my large shed a number of years ago. The owners are professional and know their product. I also refer them to all of my customers who move to the area (I am a realtor). Trustworthy, honest and professional all the way!!
After alot of research on buying a shed and long wait times from many places we came across barn raiser. They had close to 70 sheds in stock and we found the perfect one with out the wait. Then delivery was even more of a pleasure. We have a steep driveway and big back yard. They drove right up with no issues at all. Very honest family business that I'll definitely be recommending for years.
