Very bad service and it seemsike there is no management at all. AC breaks down, no water in showers, broken equipment and most importantly no one to complain to. The reception says talk to the manager and manager says talk to the management. Save your energy and go to a better gym.

This place was the best of the best, king of the hill, top of the stack, place to see and be seen ... back in the 90's when it opened. Don't get me wrong. It's still a decent hotel I suppose. I've only used the gym and recreational facilities, and they are reasonably well maintained for a place that is nearing 30 years in business.

Unfortunately, it starts to feel like it's been around for 30 years. There are countless other clubs in Dubai with a less crowded pool. The gym is a moderately nice hotel gym at best, but Dubai, with all of it's gym culture, work-out obsessed, muscle-bound models is replete with much more modern and exciting options.

It will be solidly average for the foreseeable future, unless they decide to update and expand the place to meet the status quo of Dubai today. The most impressive thing about the place is the small cafe at the entrance to the gym. Really well-done lunch menu items and energy drinks which are still offered to APC members for a substantial discount. Otherwise, it might be a place worth crossing off the list in favor of much better gym options.

I played tennis on their court yesterday. I was allocated court 9. While the surface is perfect, the lighting on the court was really bad. 1 of the court light was not working & the other one was flickering. And the spotlight from the parking building behind the court was directly blinding the eye. They should not allocate this to the customer, specially at night. It's really bad experience to play on this kind of lighting condition.
The shower room was really small. You could hardly move and take comfortable shower inside it's really improper for this class of hotel. Other club like pharaoh offer better facilities.

This place has been deteriorating in quality to a level where I have been forced to write a review. Personally, I stopped going there 6 months ago because everything was so unhygienic that even after complaining no one seemed to care about it. There were times when Air-conditioning was completely out of order during hot summers. And recently there was no water in the showers. I have been asking to pay and rent a locker for a month and everyday the answer is by tomorrow we will get it done. This does not look like a Jumeirah property and I would not go there if there is no action taken about the hygiene, service and and equipment maintenance as you feel that benches could break anytime. Please see the attached pictures that were recently taken which show the condition of this fitness club.

It s not the best hotel club, but it is very good. We go there on a regular basis. You have everything you need: all the equipment in the gym, nicely selected studio classes, outdoor tennis courts, indoor squash walls, really good swimming pool, TRX area etc. The spa is quite simple but nice. They also have a professional physiotherapy center. In addition to that there is a branch of my favorite saloon for mani/pedi (The nail spa), and hairdressers too. A healthy cafe with delicious food is there for you after your workout. By the functionally and services it could actually get 5, but I ll give 4 just because there are even better health clubs in Dubai, like the Jumeira Beach Hotel or Atlantis ones.
