Best church I have ever attended. I always feel like they are talking directly to me and how the scripture relates to my everyday life and how to use it in my everyday life. I have become a better Christian from my worship here. I understand the scripture so much better.

My kid was maltreated.
I was not notified till 3+ hours later.
We met to discuss the situation.
They said they were sorry and that they had made a mistake.
I asked The Stone to notify parents of protocols in their newsletter, address the congregation, or pull children from their classes to join full group and address them.
They said no.
I received an email which states they have begun the discussion internally about communicating with their volunteer teams, and parents to remind them of their high value of safety, and the importance of quick and candid feedback with the respective parents and church leaders involved in situations that warrant such a response.
I am informing you so this hopefully never happens to a child or families again. My kid took this on herself because they lacked the decency to inform me.
If you'd like more information, ask Austin Stone why they're not talking to all of you...you have a right to know.
Update to their response: I will not get into a back and forth power struggle with you people who call yourselves leaders. You all are deceptive people. You left my kid in daze, having to process things independently...and now you're saying our kids should have communication with their parents...NO, that is your job...YOU did wrong! You should face your wrong and talk with the congregation about it. You said no to talking openly so I'm posting here...you shouldn't be.
The worship was passionate, sincere, heartfelt and joyful. The preaching was biblical, passionate, convicting. But the people. Oh, the people! Friendly, loving, welcoming, interested in you, genuine, smily. I can't wait to go back. If you don't meet God in the preaching of his word or the singing of his worth, you will meet him in his people.
Truth spoken straight from the Word. Spirit filled worship every single Sunday. Coming here is the very best part of my week!
