I am a caregiver I had to bring my patient to the er my patient has certain medical issues I need to help her with onto of very high anxiety I have to go every where with her or she panics but was denied access to my patient which is disabled i think this is wrong and needs to be addressed fast i am not a visitor i am her personal full time caregiver and emotional support and also my patient couldn't really talk and still denied.ik u are worried bout the covid but I had no symptoms of anything and had a mask on there has been multiple times I have brought her here and waited a hr without any1 checking on her went down to the nurses station and saw the nurses on their personal phone looking at facebook or what ever els. When they could have been checking in on patients and seeing how they are and not waiting a hr without hearing anything caregivers need to be allowed in the er with their patients even the paper she took back with her temp said no visitors except those that need to help the patient with something this is a disgrace.

Really wasn't there long enough to really know. We were a day early. Lol. But the lady we talked to was friendly as could be.

I called orthopedics because I had a referral that was sent months ago. For the past three months, I ve called back-and-forth to see if they received the referral from my PCP and each time they told me no. It would become a cycle of me constantly calling my provider to have them re-fax the referral. I just got off the phone with them today and they told me that they have been trying to call me because they could not reach me they canceled the referral entirely. This is funny as I ve been calling every two weeks trying to make sure the referral was received and each time I ve been told NO . I did not have any calls from northern light, no voicemails were left, no mail correspondence was sent at all. When I asked to be transferred to a supervisor that was not done. I was not given the dates that anybody called nor was I given proof that any calls were made. This is highly unprofessional and due to this office is mixup I am going to be waiting another 4 to 5 months just for a consult. I don t know what type of games this office is playing but they deserve to be shut down or investigated. You cannot throw out somebody s referral without contacting them or notifying them by mail; that s downright shady.

The administrative responsiveness at AR Gould Hospital in Presque isle has certainly deteriorated since its affiliation with Eastern Maine Health Care. Obtaining medical records has gone from almost the same day service to 30 days. It seems that they now service up to 8 health hospitals/medical centers. So much for local service.

Don't go here if you smoke only 3 joints a day. That's marijuana abuse according to a lazy doctor that doesn't want to look into your illness. Smoked for over 25 years never had anything like what happened to me and I smoked a whole lot more when I was younger.

You wait almost 7 hours to even be seen. The hospital staff tend to be extremely abusive

Well, it was excellent as far as I am concerned. My daughter was brought in by me for some respiratory issues around 7pm on Tuesday, June 6th. We were until after 1am. Wendy was our first nurse. she was wonderful!!! She made us laugh and actually helped to make my daughter feel better. We were in the room next to #10. Later, when Wendy was ready to go home, she made it a point to let us know that she was leaving and that another nurse would be in shortly. Patty, was the other nurse. She was wonderful as well!! There was also a young man who monitored the machines my daughter was hooked up to. He was great as well. Considering that my daughter was undergoing tests to make certain it wasn't her heart; the care and concern; the effort to keep us informed of developments was superb. Thanks to everyone!!!

Billing is a joke I seriously have to get a lawyer ,speech therapist are unreliable I have never seen such lack of organization and lack of care in a business for children.

I both worked there and go there for health things and it s absolutely trash
