Husband got sick got a not from the dr but it was written by the nurse and they wouldn't accept it and deny him his vacation pay he earned. Oh and they are a non ESSENTIAL business still open and have employees working with minimal sanitation
My husband worked for Armor metal group for two years. Hardly late, no write ups, given raises. It wasn't until we told them we were moving and he put his two weeks in that he was told that the vacation pay (that he had already used) was going to be taken out of his paycheck because he didn't fulfill the year with the company. Extremely passive aggressive not to mention bad business to give your employees vacation pay unless they decide to leave...then its taken out of your last paycheck. No exceptions, no nothing. He should have left sooner. I hope they have difficulty replacing him as a welder. They didn't even provide a respirator for him so he probably also sacrificed years of his life and his lungs for a company that had stipulations for earned vacation..I hope his absence hurts them. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to work for.
