As a parent looking to place our son, what we were...

As a parent looking to place our son, what we were told, is not what was delivered upon placing our son here. Constant turn over of house staff and managers. Five managers the first 18 months. Leadership in the Organization is lacking, admin is severely lacking.
Horrible to parents. I wouldn t suggest placing anyone here or anywhere, unless you have things in writing that is told to you. We didn t know that. Lesson learned.
No accountability on their end in our opinion and the things we were told or continue to be told.
They don t like strong parents.

Once your loved one is placed they can not be moved unless there is a safety issue. That was #1 lie told by admin at the time.

Update: 2 years later, many meetings and bringing VERY insistent, and getting guardianship, it s slightly better.

Don t EVER give up even if you want to. They want family to give up and give in. DON T!!!

You will prevail. Besides, I m Mom so, no situation or person will be stronger than me and my son.

There are some very nice workers and managers. Always be kind to them. They will help your loved one and you get through it. It stinks when good people are caught up in bad management.
In a nut shell, some people just should not be in a position of power or upper management.
