Absolutely the best. Any other savory pie brand just doesn't compare to That Pie Place. Loaded with the best quality ingredients and absolutely delicious. By far the best meat pies I've ever tasted. Do yourself a favour and pick up a pie from That Pie Place. Highly recommended.

Ok, it s my turn to add to the 5* reviews. My experience all started with a gym friend s recommendation of the butter tarts and it s been all downhill from there! They (plain, nuts, raisins) were a hit at Thanksgiving. I m now working my way through the list of small savoury pies by buying 2 different ones each time, so my husband and I can share 1/2 with each other. That way we can double up on the taste test! So far, we ve had chicken, leek & mushroom (5*), beef & Stilton (5*), tourtiere (5*), chicken curry (4*, excellent flavour but somewhat short on chicken), and a turkey pot pie and beef & Guinness waiting in the freezer. I don t live nearby but I gotta say it s worth the drive. Try it. You ll like it!

Stopped in yesterday pickedd up a Chicken leek and mushroom pie as well as Peach pie everything was very good and will be back to try others

Love this place! Just picked up a couple of pies to drop off as a birthday gift - dinner and dessert, super fresh, all from one place! Got the chicken pot pie and apple pie with a crumble crust. The smell coming out the door when I picked up was enough to have my mouth watering :)

First time trying anything from here. Picked up the butter tarts, peach pie, and chicken pot pie. The crust is rich, flaky, and delicious! The tart and pie fillings were even better. The butter tarts were a tad on the sweet side, but that's just my personal taste. The family devoured the chicken pot pie.

I would definitely recommend the pies here. You really can taste the difference from scratch makes versus buying mass produced stuff.

When in a pinch for dinner, I would definitely serve one of their savoury pies to my family and feel good about it knowing it is a quality product.

Worst pumpkin pie I've ever eaten... I've had better out of a vending machine... too bad I have to give one star to post

This place needs to take a course in customer service, very rude! I will never set foot in this store again , anyway pies not that great! We found a much better and friendly place with better pies!

Delicious savoury pies. It is full of good chunks of meat.....flavored perfectly and great meal. The price is well worth it! The owner is extremely friendly and personable. Great family owned business! Give it a try.....you will love it.

Best butter tarts I ve had outside or country. Gooey centre and light pastry, they re perfect and so cheap! I will be back to try more.

Just picked up some butter tarts, the filling and crust are both amazing! The ratio of crust to filling is perfect and the prices are great! I will definitely be going back to pick up more and to try different things!

Visited for the first time , I ordered the french tourtiere. I wished I had ordered more ...it was wonderful, crust filling. I will definitely go there again.

This was my second terrible pie by The Pie Place. The filling is like a high sugar , no fruit jam or jelly. No tartness whatsoever. Extremely disappointed. (Peach and Strawberry Rhubarb)

Absolutely amazing experience here. The customer service is ALWAYS amazing. The owner is an absolute class act and a pleasure to talk to. The food speaks for itself! I haven't tried a pie here that I didn't like. My favorites are the "Chicken, Leek and Mushroom", "Steak and Stilton" and how can I leave without a tray of delicious butter tarts. Everything here is a really good value - the meat pies are always jam packed with big chunks of meat.

Pie and lasagna was delicious, defiently coming back again.

I preordered 4 pies For Thanksgiving and picked them up the day they were being made they were actually coming out of the oven when I got there...now THAT S fresh! They were a huge hit with everyone! That crust is unreal!! The filling is literally stuffed inside!! I ve also had their mini pies too, also amazingly delicious! This is the only place I m ever getting pies from!! Keep up the incredible work guys!!

Absolutely the best meat pies around! We have been buying their meat pies for years and have never been disappointed. Just full of vegetables and pieces of meat. They are also very willing to work with you if you want any variation of one of their pies.

Ordered 3 pies for Thanksgiving this year and my family and I were all very pleased with the pumpkin, apple and strawberry rhubarb I picked up. Yummy pies, reasonable prices and I really like that there was an option for small pies. I got two 5" pies for variety because I didn't need another 2 full size pies. Perfect for Thanksgiving!

Very good bakery. Reasonable prices. We had the steak and mushroom pie and a dozen butter tarts. Excellent food. Very friendly service. We will be back!

Stopped by here yesterday to pick up a chicken pot pie for us, and pecan butter tarts for a dinner party. Let me just say that I ve never seen anyone eat dessert as quickly as we all did - the tarts were some of the best I ve ever had! Can t wait to try the chicken pot pie and will be back to get quiches next time I m in the area!

I ve heard nothing but great things about that pie place. Finally tried it. I have to say the customer service was fantastic and very helpful for choosing from all the Amazing pies. I bought a Steak & Mushroom pie at Lawrence Market. The filling looks like canned dog food, just minced slop with no discernible beef or kidney pieces. Never again.

They make the best pies! And the pies are fresh fresh.

I went there after a friend recommended this local pie place, upon getting there i was greeted by a store clerk who was very friendly and offered me a list of their goods as entering the store was not an option due to COVID-19.
Long story short the "Beef, Stilton and Stout" pie is a disgrace of a pie and should be taken off their menu....I am grateful for every plateful, however this resembled and smelt foul a bit like dog food. It contained a strange liquidy starchy mush with small bits of meat and shaved mushrooms no sign of stilton cheese, I watched my family reluctantly eat what i had previously presented as a delicious local pie but to my dismay it was very unappetizing and saddening especially since their pies are EXPENSIVE (19$ for one 9 inch pie) I was so excited to try their pies but I doubt I can vouch for this place again.
