Went to Luminaria. It was beautiful. The "Light of the World" display was especially moving. Also the lights going down the hill from the top were fascinating. They made a giant computer screen, pixel by pixel, one Christmas light at a time.

I always enjoy going to Thanksgiving Point. The Ren Fair is always great to attend. The family loves to do the trolley ride in the winter to see the Christmas lights. We also caught the Harry Potter full film series marathon they held there. It's a lovely spot for many, many family activities. I would prefer it be easier to secure an adult beverage, but that's not the end of the world. Enjoy!

Beware! The menu on this site is outdated. I checked it out before I brought my 5 grandkids and was quite unhappy to find their prices way up and ice cream options way down. Super unprofessional of Thanksgiving point to fail to update their site. That's a rookie mistake!

Had a awesome time with the kids at the museum and petting farm. Definitely a must see when visiting this part of the state. However, from a kids perspective the Museum of curiosity blows these two out of the water.

I took my two kids here the other night for luminaria. The kids absolutely loved it. Also they were sold out of tickets and extremely busy, but do to them doing alternate start time they were able to keep a good flow going.

Photo overload! LOL. Tulip Festival. Walk and enjoy flowers, waterfalls, Jesus life-sized works of art, koi. Great place for kids to explore. The gift shop appeared to be accessible without admission price to the grounds and I put up a lot of photos because it has an amazingly wide range of unique items. Opens at 9:00am and at that time parking was plentiful and people were scarce. Golf carts are available to see much of what's offered if walking is not an option. The daffodils and tulips are the main attraction, as witnessed by the number of people admiring the walkway lined entrance before even entering the building, but the Tulip Festival offers so much more.

Lots to do and the place is well maintained. If you live in the area and want a good place for family activities, their membership is a great deal. The museum of curiosity its basically a giant kids playground with a lot of really cool activities. The gardens are beautiful and ideal for an interesting walk. And that's just the beginning. If you don't have kids I would say it's much less of a value.

Love having this great kids museum so conveniently located! Wonderful interactive place to bring the kids! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the seats in the museum theatre are terribly uncomfortable! Kids might not notice but we adults sure do!

Had good sized soft serve ice cream cones for the price.. They were good for all of the kids! But they were all out of frozen yogurt and didn't have several flavors of other ice cream. Hopefully next time we're on a trip here they will have more available.
