Gorgeous place w beautiful gardens & a cool waterfall. There's so much to see and do. From the gardens, gift shops, dinosaur museum, outdoor amphitheater w/ movie nights, farm animals & barn area, & megaplex movie theater.

Great for families, dates, field trips, or even alone to take a stroll around and appreciate the beauty.

Price is a bit steep for bigger families, but worth it to help with the upkeep it takes to keep this place beautiful and open for years to come.

This is like an oasis in the otherwise desert landscape of salt lake city. Well maintained gardens and a man made waterfall. This place was crowded on account of the tulip festival where thousands of tulips bloom simultaneously..

Thanksgiving point was originally designed as a play for families to attend for fun family activities. It a still meets the family activity portion, the problem is the price. You can t do anything there for less than $15 per person, and often more. It still may be worth a visit to see the beautiful gardens, tulip festival, Christmas lights, corn mazes, petting barn, etc. but don t expect to be able to take the family often without breaking the bank.

The butterfly biosphere is an awesome place to go with friends and family. We have been several times already, our little girl loves it. You can take the little ones to a creepy crawly exhibit, see beautiful butterflies in a big greenhouse, and so much more. Oh and their playhouse is huge and awesome!

My wife and I got engaged here right under the tower. It's a place of wonderful memories for us and also the place of our first date. There's so much to do here and it is always so beautiful and well caps. For movies, to the Natural History Museum, to The Wonderful Emporium where you can find hard to get items, everything is worth it. Definitely check out the gardens and the Tulip Festival in May!

Has lots to do if you don't mind screaming children EVERYWHERE. It is always packed and the one restaurant in there has a few good meals and your wallet will feel it. Pick wisely they are not big on refunds even if it is burnt to the non edible point.

Displays are educational and engaging. Learn about bugs, butterflies, and more. The biosphere is the highlight. The butterflies flutter all around and there are various kinds. We enjoyed exploring!

Though traffic can get crazy at rush hour, Thanksgiving Point family passes are a great way to enjoy each venue if you have younger children. The dinosaur museum and barn are a lot of fun. Then come down and go for a stroll and enjoy the flowers on a date night. Get a sandwich at the deli or try the tomato soup... I amazing! Finally, visit the Discovery center over and over. My kids never seemed to tire of the many things to do.

We visited the farm area. We decided to go on the pony ride. My niece that is 7 was bucked off scared horse and stepped on by the horse and pretty badly injured. Staff was not helpful and they kept ride going. Didn't offer to help pay for medical bills for injury caused. No managers were there to help take care of problem. If the child was smaller they would have been severely injured. I would advise parents with small children to avoid this ride for the safety of their child.

Great place to take the kids. My kids love the new butterfly biosphere filled with beautiful butterflies in the greenhouse. I recommend going on a warmer day. That way they are more active!

Ashton gardens is amazing during the tulip festival with 200,000 tulips of every color and shape. They also have an area with different status of Christ and his life and the miracles he performed. Breath taking!

The museum of natural curiosity is fun and keeps the kids entertained for a few hours. They are always so tired after. Perfect for a nap or early bedtime.

My girls don't like the dinosaur museum as much but my little boy could be there all day. Only about an hour or so of activities, then they are all done.

The farm yard is great and has a big variety of animals with a tractor ride and pony ride. Be prepared to wait a LONG TIME for the pony ride if there is a line.

It's definitely worth getting the pass is you live close and can go often. Quite expensive if it's for just a one time thing.

Love this place! I ve only ever been here for running the Thanksgiving 5k, but I went to see the luminara lights and was impressed! Loved how extensive the lights were and how they were synced with the music! Thanksgiving point has everything anyone could want including an amazing museum that I cannot wait to visit!

When I get to Salt Lake City, I try to never miss Thanksgiving Point. They make every season a grand Adventure. Their man-made waterfall blows me away. I'm looking forward to the Tulip Festival Every Spring. Last year I was there for Christmas. It was magical with a gingerbread Village.

As an adult, I did not expect to learn so much and love this museum as much as I did! There were so many neat specimens and replicas of animal and plant life from every epoch of prehistoric time. I loved seeing the life-size dinosaur representations and learning things I never knew! I also enjoyed seeing their 3D films, which left me thinking very deeply about life, space, and the future. I would recommend this museum to anyone seeking to experience dinosaurs up close, a great scientific learning experience for a day, or even just a casual walk through prehistory. The layout allows you to casually meander through at your own pace and has a few unique surprises along the way!

The construction at the point of the mountain is terror and dismay at its finest, and to balance out the forces of evil with good, fields of lilies and fossils were conceived on the opposite side of I-15.

Like yin and yang, we are thankful for this point of thanksgiving for bringing balance again to the point of the mountain.

It was a pretty good expirence until I was buying some chips and a bag was already opened. Not knowing that I had bought it. Sure enough as I get to the counter no one else notices it and I accidentally buy it. Once I noticed the open bag as I was loading gorceries into my car I ran back in to return them. Right as I get in the fire alarm goes off . So of course I wait 30 minutes for the fire men to come and give us the all clear. Apperently it was just a test. I finally explain to the employee that this bag was already opened. He then goes on to tell me that I was lying and I was the one who had eaten them. I told him multiple times that I had bought them that way, right as he's about to call security to come get me I smack him and run. I know a pretty dirty move but I was pretty mad. As I was running away the cops were out front and had a sense of what I was doing, so they chased me and now I'm here in the police station writing this about to go get interviewed.
