Great spot for reading and working. Good industrial design in a renovated old building which used to be a grand postal office of Bangkok. Love to be back.

Have some coffee while reading books at your preferred spot. It's spacious and clean.
the place is cozy and has a nice calming vibe to it. perfect for working
Pretty good place to hangout with friends. There's nice coffee shop n rooftop garden. There's also a quiet place to read..
If you're lacking of imagination, come to this place where you can enjoying ton of books, toms and so many materials to inspire yourself. The fee is cheap and you can get free one day pass for AIS Serenade membership.
I went to the local friends and didn't go to the library, but I had a cup of coffee on the 5th floor and enjoyed the rain for a while.
I'm interested in design, so if you go alone, you can stop by the rest of the floor.
Drop by on Mondays which are closed Didn't check the information first, so will come again
I like the library a lot. But on the way back, I get to pay the parking fee of CAT for 20 hrs per hour. There is no card to keep all day. So sick
Lots of.book
Lots of table.for sit and work / read / whatever
Have coffee shop but quiye expensive
Near 7-11 and post office / bus / boat
15 mins to BTS
Really cool co-working space with a library and a coffee shop. Highly recommend!
Rushed there and only to find the notice closed and will open in 2017,also relocated
18 Mar 63 at 16.00 hrs.
Male staff not man Wearing a very bright yellow shirt
Subsidize candy shops But not to eat snacks in the 5th floor zone
#This is anyone who fussy after the TCDC guests
#Help improve service standards to be equal.
There was a construction around if you found the entrance. There were no exhibitions. Entrance to the library costs 100 baht, but admission to the roof and cafe is free. Entrance to the left of the main entrance to the national post office
The location is very convenient for organizing various art and exhibitions. Convenient to take the BTS to get off from Saphan Taksin Bridge and take a bus or walk.
Visit the world of
Designs & Innovations .
Enjoy being inspired by cool designers designs.
Chocolate Tasting ~ Enjoying chocolate tasting. Make you aware of Thai chocolate, not any nation in the world. Thank you to TCDC for recruiting and creating great activities.
The Creative Design Center (TCDC) is a service area in 3 important areas, namely creating ideas Creating a business and turning a business In an environment that is most suitable for creation
One of the best design/creativity libraries in Thailand (if not Asia) The exhibitions are always very informative and free!
Art Gallery, Library and coffee shop. One of the best place to work with a good view on the park. Free WiFi.
Knowledge source for the new generation Inspiration seekers must come here.
The Thai Creative Design Center TCDC, which has moved to a new home, is the former General Post Office. It is tall and bright. The white space is very comfortable. The top floor has a roof garden that overlooks the mottled and old town. From the fifth floor, you can buy tickets to enter the tour. On the 5th and 4th floors, there is a very rich collection of books in the library area. You can see a lot of people reading books, so you must talk softly. There is an unmanned beverage space inside. Some drinks can be purchased for drinking. The third floor is a maker space full of various machines, and there is a large work table. Looking at the T-shirt pattern hot press, I really want to see it in person; the second floor is a material library. The surface is full of various materials and some practical Product display using these materials. 1Day pass is 100 baht, annual pass is 1200 baht, student annual pass is only 600 baht, so exaggerated and cheap, the designer must come!
In addition, because the TCDC is connected to the post office, it is recommended that some foreign travelers can purchase postcards in the store on the first floor of the TCDC, write them in the library, and post them here. The stamp is 15 baht.
TCDC is located at the Bang Rak Grand Post Office. You can park your car at the CAT TOWER building. Coming here, in addition to using the TCDC service, you can also visit the beautiful Central Post Office building. On the 5th floor, which is the exhibition area of TCDC-selected designers, which will be rotated every 3 months. You can inquire at the service counter on the 1st floor.
There are many books to choose from. Membership fee is 1,200 baht per year.
The biggest design library in Thailand. Lots of books, journals, magazines and other design resources.
Is good That should have been in the country for a long time. Do good, beautiful, modern.
The library has been moved since May and has been integrated with the office. You can also use the library here. I'm leaving a post for those who are looking at the Google rating. The Emporium Design Center was also opened after construction was completed. It is also good here.
Such a great place to spend time working and reading!
Came after seeing some good reviews but didn t enjoy at all. Walked 20 mins all the way from BTS & found that the places that can be visited are the souvenirs shop and the coffee shop, you have to join 1 day membership at 100baht to visit the library as there was no exhibitions till February 2020. Perhaps better to check on their website if there is exhibition to make your trip counts.
When registering as a member for 1 day, it can be used for 100 baht. It would be a good place for those who major in design or work.
It is a good place to carry a book or a laptop and use it all day, as you can carry it in your bag. A power outlet and WiFi are provided.
As it is close to the river, it is also a good idea to take the Sheraton Orchid's shuttle boat and walk down to the Sheraton Orchid.
The Thai Creative Design Centre was relocated from its former site, The Emporium, to Bangkok Post Office, currently on Shilongjun Road.
The front building provides exhibitions and lecture halls, and the back building has a book center and a material library. It uses the transparent light of the General Post Office building as a whole, and the old site is more complete on the first floor of the Royal Department Store. The independent space planning also shows the energy of the design center.
Modern design library with co-working space, cafe, and exhibition area. It's currently free for this month, after which a one day pass will cost 100bht /annual membership 1200 bht for general public / 600 for students n government officials. Very cool place, must go. There is a materials resource area where you can find where to buy them.
TCDC nice place to sit There is also an electrical plug.
Open for free entrance until the end of May 2017.
Annual members 1,200 baht per year
TCDC is located next to the Grand Postal Building, Bangrak area. The nearest BTS station would be the Saphan Taksin and its around 10 minutes walking to get here.
The building is very modern, yet chic with many spots for memorable photos to be taken. Resources wise, there is more than plenty of books especially on design, architect, history of art and other aesthetic topics.
Lots of co working space between floors to floors. A must visit for knowledge lovers and/or people who wanted to study or just for a read for the whole day. Although books can not be borrowed outside the ground, but the lovely staff member there can surely help you with photocopying (paid).
Entrance fee is 100 baht (for whole day usage). AIS Serenade member can access the resource centre without charge. They also provide reasonable package for monthly/yearly membership as well, saves alot more.
TCDC in Bangkok is obviously not a place for tourists to visit. We asked about five taxis before anyone knew the location.
The design library is spacious, comfortable and quiet. When the sun is getting stronger, the electric curtains of the floor-to-ceiling windows slowly cover the glass to keep the space bright but equally cool. I feel comfortable being here for a few hours!
Located in the post office building, there are galleries and exhibition rooms. Good location
In 2017, the old building of the General Post Office of the Post Office in the United States created a space for exhibitions including exhibition space, cultural and creative shops, and materials books. The halls in black and white are very simple and temperament, and the furniture used for tables and chairs is from the hands of Thai designers. Designers and researchers can not only find a sense of ambiguity, but also practical hands-on operation, creating a three-party cooperation chain of materials manufacturers, designers and brand production, and opening up opportunities for the development of local design brands.
This is not a library. It is a tcdc office.
For reference, the library is also under construction at the Emporium Department Store (as of April 2017).
If you would like to see design books go to tcdc commons 2nd floor next to Mandarin Hotel.
There aren't as many books as a library, but it's cool and good.
Nice place for working. Tons of information and support for your innovation and productivity. Coffeeshop inside, nice rooftop areas (1 public area, 2 member areas). Friendly and helpful staffs.
Very good place, worth a visit. But is this really a Thai design? Black and white, the design elements are also very modern and European, and I don t think it is very Thai design...
The entrance is not obvious, many small and small objects, some areas can be used without tickets.
Following last year, I started from this flower market and walked past Chinatown. I think it is the second most comfortable place to go to Bangkok for free. If you are lucky, you can see some nice exhibits. As many of you have recommended, you can enjoy the scenery from the rooftop with the post office logo. One of my favorite places in Bangkok.
A good place to experience art and do diy!
Only 100 baht you can do two diy activities!
Deduct points on the front of the building and the back that are not connected
Good atmosphere, has a large library but requires membership
Close .... Do it so you don't have to waste time coming Open again on Jan. 6.
ADMIN at the center on the 4th floor is terrible, Chinese people wear thin glasses, they are picky. Do not come to see the problem when USER has a problem.
Which is opposite to ADMIN 5th floor. Bob women wear glasses and men wear glasses a lot.
There is a problem with the WIFI signal. Only said that you must not put a trolley bag on the table ???
There are employees like this, it's not good. Don't forget, the long-haired Chinese employee wearing skinny glasses is terrible.
Should improve service standards to be equivalent to other staff.
Worth visiting if you re fond of design, architecture and aesthetics.
It is highly recommended that people who like design and fashion are coming! Generally speaking, it is a book tube plus a lot of seats for designers who need to discuss. The collection of books is very wide! It only costs 100 yuan to go in and can stay for a day. Wait and go as many times as you like! The chairs in the museum are also famous classics. Not surprisingly, the reason why Bangkok is so strong in design is that there are such good places to find information! There is also a material display on the floor! It can be worth a trip! You will find a lot of information and inspiration, and there are many tasteful Bangkok youths!
Yearly subscription is okay. Suitable for most designers Suitable for work spaces. Most books are in English.
Like everything there .. But the air conditioner is a little too cold .. If you can open it well enough, it's probably great.
This is an amazing work-space! It's decorated like a giant studio, highly conducive to work. There's an expensive cafe in the same room and a cinema just outside. It's also located on top of a mall, so there's an infinite choice for food. One could live here...if you have the money.
First day is free, but there are membership fees after that.
The most loving space for an architect or a designer in Bangkok!
We applied an one day tickets to have a bit visit of the entire building, it was really detailing about all the material sources in Thailand, the designers members could get a lot of inspiration from here.
I wish our country can have the exactly organization to help further on the design industry.
Is a good place to sit and find ideas through rare books Collected here
Thailand's First Library Specific for Fashion,Creative design. [Moved From The Emporium with more big space]
Amazing asset for Bangkok. Team should be congratulated. Worth a visit just to have a look around - but beyond that there's no better creative coworking space in Thailand.
Very good base for design and creativity. There are exhibitions, libraries, material galleries and maker spaces.
Historical Post office partly renovated into design centre. Mostly library w 100B entry fee.
Nice city view from top. You an also find future designers' works on display.
In the reviews, everything has already been said before me, I have nothing to add, I just want to leave my five stars I did not regret at all that I came, for 100 baht it fully justifies its cost, I am thinking of buying an annual subscription (it seems like it costs 1200 baht). Very quiet and comfortable place, you can sit to work or just read books on art, watch an exhibition of materials
Love here!
A cool place to stay quietly.
In particular, I fell in love with the rooftop overlooking Bangkok.
Amazing space, come early and be prepared to spend at least half a day here if you are a design buff and/or love to read. Very well designed, with indoor & outdoor spaces. Its basically a modern-day bibliotheque. Highlights are the Material Library, the Resource Centre & the cafe on L5 serves very decent coffee and cake. One downside is that it is not located near any BTS, had to take a cab. However, water taxis are close by if u have access.
Creative, vibrant, interesting center where up and coming talented designers can work and display their projects.
Best place in the city for art and design resources
A huge books and resources centre for people who need creative references. There are working spaces, meeting rooms, material area and cafes. You can regist for a year member THB 1,200 or pay a daily fee only THB 100.
Modern design library with wide range of local and international design books. Co-working space, workshop and cafe is alltogether. Very convenience for designers. Plenty of parking is available. One-day pass ticket is 100 bt a day/ 1,200 bt. Annually membership fee.
Usually be here for English text book. Worth it just only 1200B for a year. There are co-working space, rare book which you couldn't find them easily and the best thing here is free Wi-Fi event you are not a member.
Great spot for studying or getting work done! 100baht daily fee. But if you're an AIS serenade member, there are occasional deals for you to go for free :)
For searching design inspiration and advice. Charge for entry and membership fee apply. The cheapest is one day pass ticket 100 baht (September 2018)
