Pretty good overall and getting better every day but through COVID they failed. Hopefully as we get past this farther and farther they will improve.

I am a proud Alumni of TSTC, from 1989 to 1991, when it was called TSTI. I only have fond memories of my time there. It was the best decision of my life to attend this college.
My husband Darrell Helcl works there in the culinary arts building he's been there for a little over 10 years and it's a good place to go to school and a good place to work they have really good food there as well
Good basic college. I got most of my basics out of the way here. It's more relaxed than Universities and much cheaper. Friendly and helpful teachers and staff too. The technical education you get here is great. I was going for web design but switched to commercial art. If you are looking for a technical education or getting those basics done. The live on situation is nice too. But, don't expect luxury housing. You get what you pay for. lol
Went here for the Diesel Equipment program and had a job two days after graduating for 21$ hr 40 hrs a week at Ryder. Some people think this school is a joke but it's what you make out of it. If you are interested and willing to learn, the instructors will help you but if you are lazy and want things handed to you, they're not going to waste their time. Small town college and I liked the atmosphere. I definitely recommend for people who like hands on learning.
Went for a visit today and the staff was super friendly! My son is excited to start in the fall!
This place is definitely what you make of it. Not your traditional college, its about 75% hands on labs to about 25% of actual course work. You have to put in effort to fail a class. Everything you need is given to you and all the teachers have worked in that specific field that they are teaching. They have free tutoring given by the school. The Job Fairs at this school were actually bigger than the ones given by Baylor. Companies come here to hire because they know that this school puts out students that are ready to work. I took the robotics program and I had a job before I graduated from the school. Lots of opportunity here and your trade will allow you to live wherever you please. Great school all the way around and a hell of alot cheaper than any 4 year college or university. I came out the gate making great money and all of my classmates have done the same. 2 thumbs up!!
Toured Electrical Construction.
These are some of the friendliest people I've had the pleasure of meeting
Loved my time attending TSTC. I achieved 4 AAS Degrees in 5 years (Welding Technology, Aviation Maintenance - A&P, and Avionics Technology) . I highly recommend TSTC every chance I get.
