My daughter is now 33 years old & has attended as a camper or served as a counselor every year since she was 7, except for a few when she had surgeries. TLC is an amazing place that has provided her with so much joy. I cannot express the positive impact it has had upon her life. I m grateful for the Texas Lions who work so hard to provide this wonderful place. The organization, supervision, & care for the campers are excellent. The experiences
at TLC provide campers with memories to last a lifetime.

My daughter stayed one week, two years ago at the Lions Camp and she loved it. My husband and I had never trusted my daughter's care with anyone, especially due the fact she has diabetes.
The care provided at the Lions camp, was priceless.

Unfortunately our daughters application for the Lions Camp, last year, was not approved, due to untimely submission of the application and verifications..

We hope our daughter, Sara Mia Guilfu will be able to attend this summers camp session, for children with type 1 Diabetes.

I've been a camper for several years and always have the best time. Campers grow life long friendships with fellow campers while getting to do activities other camps can't provide. When you are a parent you don't truly understand that that camp makes kids stronger. They believe in themselves more and get amazing support from councilors. I would recommend this camp to any parent who is scared to leave there child with this camp because it really opens up a new life for them and the best part is... its FREEEEEEEE:)

Texas Lions Camp is Great, I myself have been donating for over 13 years and have made many visits and spoke to the Saff as well as some of the Student Counselors and for what they all put into helping Children with special needs is touching.

Yes I am a Member of the San Jacinto High Rollers Motorcycle Club. When We as a Club ride our motorcycles from all parts of Texas to Present a check the Texas Lions Camp in the Month of June while it's Hot and dry and through the blistering Sun and even through troublesome rainstorms I can say seeing the Children's smiles as We Roll in is Heart throbbing and it seems the tears wouldn't stop! These Kids are full of Laughter .

It seems these Kid's now have found a bond between each other here at the camp and knowing that their are others like themselves that have special needs And I too few part of this bond. I would like to say Thank You to the Texas Lions Camp for All You do for these kid's as well as myself. I too like to smile.

My children had a blast last year!! It was my girls first time at summer camp because of her disabilities, no other camp would let her participate!! Lions Camp staff was amazing with her, very attentive to her!! She is still talking about it, and my older boy had an amazing time also!! He had time to get away from his sister but still got to see her thru out the day and he could make sure she was doing good!! Thank you to all of the staff and the organization itself! Thank you also to all if the donations from all of the supporters!!! who make this possible for four

I was a camper here years ago and decided to give back to the camp as a staff member this summer. Unfortunately my wing leader treated me harshly and was extremely rude and inconsiderate of my own disability my fellow wing staff were also extremely rude. I hated it here as a staff member and plan to never work at this camp again. Ps.. my wing leader looks like a dude she s ugly.. I was offered to reapply for next summer but there s no way I m going back to such a negative demeaning environment
