The experience I had a Texas Health in Flower Mound was top notch. I was there for a total of 14 days and the nursing staff and MDs were nothing but caring helpful. I was very surprised given the current pressure in the medical community. I highly suggest using this hospital for any emergencies that may come up.

This is a wonderful hospital with caring staff. As Covid is causing us to have more patients in the er, I have noticed longer wait times. When I first moved here, one night I had a horrible pain in my ear that seemed to sound like intermittent scrambling. They took me right back without a wait. The doctor and nurse found an earwig in my ear and got it out with no pain whatsoever.
I ve noticed that the hospital has all the modern testing equipment as a big city hospital in a suburban and friendly setting.
My daughter has had dance injuries and they ve taken good care of her as well. There is a longer wait now than in the past but I think it s for two reasons. We have a growing community with construction at the er and because the hospital has more Covid patients. The waiting room actually has a separate area for patients with Covid and respiratory symptoms. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is prevalent throughout the facility.
We used to live in a much larger city with extraordinarily long wait times, like 3 hours minimum until you get to the back. This hospital is typically one hour or less now. I don t think that s horrible given the circumstances we are now in.
I experienced a Barium Swallow and Raeann was super. She and the Dr. providing the procedure and reading the scans made me so comfortable I felt as if I were with family or friends. Great bedside manner. From the moment I walked thru the front door I experienced people with a smile both in their voice and on their face. Great day and great people.
My mom had surgery and had to stay overnight. Was told by the nurthat the discharge papers were for 9 am the next morning. Guess that makes no difference 6 hours later still nothing. Also refused to let my child go in with me to try and wait for discharge and told me she could sit in the vehicle or outside. Obviously that didn't happen. Oh and 5 hours and still counting on release. Not my choice of a hospital and certainly won't chose for myself if something ever happens in the future. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL!
We were sitting in the ER waiting room last night when a lady came in and talked the the receptionist and said her teenage daughter had tested positive for Covid and she could not get her temperature down, she asked "Where is she" she's outside because there are people sitting in the waiting room ( Me and my wife, both in our late 60's) the receptionist said bring her in and take a seat. We couldn't believe the total lack of couldn't care less, when the mother told her she had Covid-19. So no special procedure for Covid, well the more people who catch it the more money the hospital makes.
Hospital OVERCHARGES you later. Few months back I had a surgery done at this hospital. On the day of my surgery the person checking me in deducted a particular amount from my total bill as I had already made a payment to the surgeon separately. But few months later they reached out to me saying that I need to make the payment for that discounted amount. I did have a proof of that discount but they sent me a letter via their debt collector. In order to avoid any further inconvenience and hassle I went ahead and made the payment.
Took my dad in because of COVID and had very low oxygen levels and they made him wait several minutes before he got help. On top of that not a single person in that hospital looks like they want to help. If you don t want to help then don t become a nurse/doctor. Simple as that.
I was at the facility yesterday for an outpatient procedure. All the Drs., nurse and staff I came in contact with were over the top helpful. It was the friendliest hospital I have ever been in. Today someone called. From the hospital and asked how I was doing and if there was anything they could improve on that would have made my visit better. I couldn t think of a thing! Amazing hospital !
Had to beg to go to ICU, since they, in a normal room setting, couldn't help me. Nurse asked me what was "ICU" Never again! Say day surgery and still here on day 4 after having to have blood also.
