I was beyond disappointed. I had my hair curled for a ball. I didn't like my bangs the way Katie curled them, so I told her it looks great, but not a fan of the bangs. She suggested a braid and I still wasn't in love. I told her I still didn't love the bangs. She rolled her eyes and you could tell she was sick of doing my hair. I had been in her chair less than half an hour and was polite and nice about everything because I am one who gets sensitive to criticism, so I know how if feels and I am mindful of that. Well after her eye roll and obvious annoyance I told her it was fine and went to pay. $65! $65 for her to curl my hair and not even give her best at it. My hair was just down and curled with a small braid for my bangs, a total of two bobby pins nothing intricate or anything and I didn't even like it. I just finished reading the reviews for this place recently and it really seems to have gone downhill lately!

This salon is very overpriced. Not only are they overpriced, they don't let you know the price until it is time to check out and you'll be surprised with a $300+ bill. They overtoned my hair until it was gray and the cut I requested was way off, basically I looked like an old lady and I'm in my early 30's. I had to pay someone to fix it because I was heading out for Vegas and wanted to look sexy not geriatric. They claim my hair looked healthy but it was the angle because I have a picture I took from my truck as soon as I got out of the salon and it looked pretty terrible. Avoid going here, I posted a review on Facebook and they got defensive and blocked me. That's not the way a business should act.

Keratin treatment and Layered cut
Stylist was not personable at all. She barely spoke, and did not explain what she was doing. I was placed in front of the mirror under the dryer to stare at my self. If I was told how long then I would have asked for a magazine to read or get my cellphone from my purse. People with curly hair need microfiber towels to dry their hair, not cotton towels, and I had to stop her so that I can brush my knots out before she began to cut. The layered cut was choppy, and done incorrectly. Stylist only knows how to cut straight. She did not point cut my ends, and didn't use thinning shears. More education is needed. This stylist should not be cutting hair unless it's a straight line trim cut. I asked for another stylist to double check the cut, Knowing it was not cut correctly she still approved the layered cut. REALLY?! It is awesome that coworkers has each other's back but not at the cost of the customer's hair. I have had my hair straighten many times, vo-tech students have done better. Needless to say, I have to go to another salon to fix a simple layered cut.

4 stars are for Meagan she is friendly and most importantly a good stylist who seems to know what she is doing. I would recommend anyone to give her a try :) However, I wasnt impressed with the place overall. The stylists weren't the least bit welcoming instead of greeting customers they sit around and talk...

They advertise "blow out" on Yelp. I called, they got me in. Worst decision ever. Stylist partially washed my hair (didn't massage the shampoo on most of my scalp), then proceeded to blow dry with a vented brush!! Any other place I've been that knows what a blow out for long hair is, uses a round brush to straighten. She said she'd dry then straighten with a flat iron... That's not a blow out. Waste of time and money. If they can't handle a simple blow out, wouldn't trust them with anything else.

I went hair company to get my hair colored by Alicia and i showed her a pic she done before from her face book ' she said ok i will get it done in one session without damaging my hair and will charge me $145 . I was shocked it came out orange gold color and not even close to what i wanted plus she charged me $175
I went back after 10 days to have her fix the color and she made it even worse and damaged my hair
I texted her but she didn't replay although she read it but she preferred to ignore me
I'm so disappointed and really feel bad for what she have done to me

This company is terrible. I have never been to a business who doesn't care about their customers as much as this one. If someone has a problem with their service especially after paying such a high amount, a business should do everything in their power to make things right to keep a customer instead of alienating them and losing a really good customer. I will let everyone know not to be going to this salon!

The most unprofessional managed salon. She truly does not care about her clients. For $178.00 my hair was butchered and the color as nothing like I asked. I didn't even receive the highlights I paid for. I sent a text with pictures to the owner showing her how messed up it was. She admitted that it looked horrible and said she would fix it. Yet, she just blew me off for a week. I finally had to go elsewhere to have it fixed and am out 178.00. Never again.

So happy with my experience at Texas Hair Company! Alicia was my stylist and she was great! I love my hair and loved be overall service I received. She is personable and really listens to what you want!

When you get there ask for Nicole Howard best hair stylist. She will be able to look at what you once thought it was a flaw and understand that it is a personal distinction. She will make you look incredible. Whether you are getting a great cut, new highlights or just want to cover up that gray. You will love your look.
