I could not have passed without Brian's courses
Hands down the BEST exam prep material out there for all FINRA exams.
Unfortunately I had to fail both my Series 7 and Series 66 exams before I broke down and bought his courses. He does recommend you use his material as a supplement to another course.
It really doesn't matter which one you choose, (Kaplan, STC, TC, Pass Perfect, etc.), as they are all pretty much the same. Because you'll get the basics down through those courses and then Brian bridges the gap. I just wouldn't purchase any additional video packages from those vendors, just get the practice tests and textbook. Unless you want to watch videos of the textbook, then Training Consultants is a good one for that. But you'll still have to watch Brian's videos because there are a ton of nuggets in there that will save your hiney when you sit for your exams.
I tried to cut corners on my 7 and only watched his options section. I aced options but scored a 68 the first two times I took it. It wasn't until I watched his entire video series and took his practice exam, before I passed.
Then I was cocky and thought I could just use the exam prep material offered by my firm for my 66, since I felt like I did so well on the 7. NOPE! I got a 71 on the 66... Ugh! Bought Brian's course, watched his videos and finally passed. I actually had fun taking the test because I really felt like I knew the material so well. All thanks to Brian.
If you're on the fence about getting his courses, just do it. As Brian's Dad said (in one of his lectures), you always buy for protection. Haha! You'll be happy you did.
