Worst place I ever worked, very unfair with no morals. 90% of the issues can be blamed on the owner. Highly Not recommended.Stay far away from this place.
Worst job ever, money was good but the owner and son are unbelievable,never worked at a place like that didn't even know one existed and could be run like that, the owner and son let's there personal life bleed into the work environment and treat employees like trash, the son constantly uses drugs during the work day and is very inappropriate, they do not know how to run a business and I am utterly surprised that the place isn't up in flames right now, wouldn't go back there or recommended anyone to

Working at Tesla has been a great experience for me as a journeyman machinist. I came to Tesla with a good working knowledge of CNC machining. Specializing in programming, setting up, and operating Mazak 4 axis mills and 5 axis lathes. However, these were older Plus and Nexus Mazaks. Dinosaurs really. At Tesla I am like a kid in a candy store. Most of the machines are the newest "smooth" models. I was able to learn how to program and setup Mazak Integrex machines. Something that was new to me before joining Tesla. Plenty of new production and prototype parts to program to keep my mind engaged and sharp. Additionally, Tesla will give you all the help necessary to succeed at your job. IE: Mazak training in Kentucky, online Mazatrol training, in house training with Mazak apps professional.
If you are a qualified CNC machinist looking to improve your skills on the newest Mazaks on the planet; then Tesla Industries the place for you.
One word of caution, the owner of Tesla has programmed many of the production parts and knows his way around the machine shop. Be honest in your interview. Don't say you have a certain skill set if you can't preform it. In other words don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk. Come in humble. The cream always rises to the top. Your hard work and dedication will be compensated.
The people who work there are good but the owner and son are a mess ... no raises ever given .. they humiliate employees thats why i quit .. i wouldnt go back ever if it was the last job in the world .. honestly bloom energy is way better a awesome place
After reading the one star reviews from low end laborers with a history of a high turn over rate, I would like to share my experience here as a professional. Tesla Industries turned my passion of electronics into a career. Everything thing I now know, from AC to DC conversion to equipment calibration, was taught to me personally by the CEO. I was able to quickly raise my rank with hard work and dedication. When I found out I was expecting a child, the CEO gave me a bonus to help with the expense of a newborn. If you are willing to learn, Tesla Industries will turn your hobby into a career.
