Accommodations were very nice and clean. Restaurant was excellent. We especially enjoyed our server Jake at dinner. He was prompt, fun and very gracious. Made our dinner that much better! And we sat by the fireplace. Breakfasts were yummy too! All staff were very pleasant! Would definitely return.
This place is BEAUTIFUL! The location is amazing. The people were all so nice. We had dinner at the restaurant on site, it was yummy! I only wish we had stayed more than one night, but it was a fantastic place to go for our anniversary.
Great hotel for the price. The Yosemite tour and the guide we're top-notch. He was very informative. If you want to stay close to Yosemite with more amenities I'd stay here.
My daughter and I stayed 6 wonderful days! The rooms were comfortable, the desk employees were very helpful, the food was 1st class and the spa treatments were unbelievable! We will come again. This is an amazing place located on the middle of the mountain. I was just for 1 night but can suggest it for more days. They are nice and very clean. I love the hotel. Here some pics. Really recommend it

This hotel was probably really nice 20 years ago.
However, it definitely needs some updating. There's really no reason to still have popcorn ceilings in the rooms.
Last year we stayed here but we were down in the cabins/tiny houses. That stay was nice, but nothing special as we didn't use any of the amenities of the actual lodge itself.
This year we had originally booked a room with two queen beds, but upon arrival requested we switch to a room with a single King bed. We were advised they would do this for us, but it would take a while for the room to be ready. We happily waited and went to the room once it was ready. Upon arriving in the room we did not inspect the room to notice that in fact we had been placed in a room with a single queen bed, which was not ideal for our situation and means we actually paid more money than we should have for a substandard room.
Overall, this stay was simply okay. We've stayed at this hotel multiple times, but we will probably start staying at one of the newer hotels opening in Oakhurst in the future.
For the price of this hotel the Hampton Inn will be better choice once it's open.
Highly recommend! This place was awesome! We came for a short weekend stay. Great location, facility, trails and grounds. We had a family of 5 and opted for a small lodge rental. Not far from the main lodge, these were very nicely updated and very cozy! The gas fire pits around the mini lodges made for an awesome night meeting new folks nearby! This was a great place for a family with 3 kids and would be fun for a group of friends. It was very close to the south entrance of Yosemite to drive and hike. Ate at the restaurant and food and staff were great. Indoor pool was decent and the gym facilities as well. Only negative .we didn t stay longer! We will definitely return!
Beautiful lodge/hotel. Staff was mostly friendly. Gift store hours were interesting, consisting of 2 four hour long blocks during the day. The indoor pool and hot tubs were very clean and well-maintained. While there were hiking trails nearby, they were not nearly as accessible as at other lodges.
