Went in due left arm tingling and lightheadedness....

Went in due left arm tingling and lightheadedness. Didn't have to wait to long. I had to use the restroom so I asked did they need a sample. Gave sample. When to the back never saw a nursee only came in to give me my discharge papers. Dr came and explained I was dehydrated. I explained that doesn't explain the numbness in my left arm. He goes on to say that dehydration can cause a various of aliments. Left there went to another ER and was admitted for having a stroke. If I didn't know something was wrong I would be dead right now. St. Luke's needs to do better. Instead of just shuffling people out the door. I could have died or had serious injuries.

I fell off a ladder last month and the first words when the PAC came in was while seeing the cut and bump on my head was; "YOU SHOULD'VE GONE TO A TRAUMA HOSPITAL!" After that they never cleaned the cut, they X-rayed my head and rest of body then he just gave me pain pills and booted me out the door!! Now if this doesn't say I DON'T HAVE TIME TO TAKE CARE OF YOU, GO HOME," THIS SURELY DID, I'm at Banner hospital in Mesa now and they are treating me with compassion and caring nurse's and doctors.....NEVER GO TO TEMPE ST. LUKE'S FOR THEY WILL JUST BOOT YOU OUT WITH PAIN PILLS...

My stay at Tempe St Luke's was as good as it gets. Staff was super responsive, professional, caring and pleasant. If I called the nurses station, the answer was extra prompt. Compared to a recent stay in another unnamed facility, Tempe St Luke's was like a tropical vacation. My only criticism is the channel selection on the television. Very few choices. Thanks to all of you.!!

Terrible service very unprofessional; went in to the emergency room and got a covid test; they told me that I had to call back the next day for my results. Ive now been calling all day since 8am to 6pm. They continue to put me on hold and hang up in my face while I m at home sick not knowing if I m a risk to my family/community. Very careless workplace and their customer reps are to blame. Just terrible.

Front desk was helpful and kind. After that everything was a scary joke.... I would recommend that you stay away from this ER!! If you want the long version, continue reading.
The triage nurse never asked me about my medical history or what medications I was taking. I was taken to my curtained area where I was told my nurse and doctor would be in shortly. Next thing I knew, a tech was taking me to have a CT scan. I was sent back to my "room". The same triage nurse came to give me pain and nausea medication. She said she was helping my nurse Mike who was very busy with other patients. Mike, finally made it in. He asked if the pain meds were working. I told him they were not. He said he would give them about 20 more minutes to work & he would come back to give me more if the first dose hadn't kicked in. I never saw him again during my visit. I pressed the nurses call button for over 30 minutes because I needed more medicine and to use the restroom. No one responded. I unhooked my monitors and went down the hall to the restroom on my own. The security guard tried to stop me and tell me I had to be accompanied. I explained I couldn't wait any longer I was about to urinate on myself. She kept insisting I stop but I went to the restroom on my own. The doctor came by for about 20 seconds. Didn't listen to my heart lungs or even come near me. He said I had a serious infection and would be giving me IV antibiotics and nausea medication. I asked for more pain medication and he said he ordered it and someone would be right in. About an hour later the same triage nurse comes in and I ask her if she has the pain meds. She says "I didn't get a chance to ask because I was with other patients". I asked how she was with other patients when I saw her sitting in a chair with her legs up laughing with a coworker. She said she wasn't doing that. She said she had discharge paperwork for me to sign. I told her that I was waiting for pain meds and to talk to the doctor. She sent the charge nurse in. I advised the charge nurse of what was going on. She apologized and sent the same triage nurse back in with a pain pill and discharge paperwork. The doctor NEVER came back to speak to me. I still had a fever, severe pain and chills when I left. The female nurse said she didn't ask for my medical history or medications because I had been seen at another facility they are affiliated with and she could see my information. I told her that was not the right protocol because my medications have drastically changed in the last few months. She just rolled her eyes. Horrible bedside manner and very incompetent staff. Please try to avoid this Emergency room at all costs.

Highly attentive and caring staff, nurses, and doctors! Every step of the procedure was explained to me and each person showed compassion and patience. Friendliest hospital experience! They said they were short staffed yet I could not tell by the high morale. Thank you to everyone for the top notch care!!

Went to the ER and they did not act like they cared about me at all. The PA didn t even do an assessment on me and did the bare minimum for tests. They told me I was fine and sent me home and my condition ended up getting way worse so I had to go to another ER where they could actually diagnose and treat me. It caused me so much extra pain and damage to my body that could ve been prevented if they were actually thorough. The only good thing I can say was that I had a sweet nurse.

This hospital would have been good thing if one of the nurses didn't lie to my face about putting a mask on my Mother and put her at risk of Covid...after discharge I sent a detailed email to the director Crystal who has not had the decency to even acknowledge receipt of my email. I am very disappointed in this establishment and how they have chosen to ignore something so serious
