Wonderful course and training. I am an experienced teacher (high school and university levels) from the United States and I wanted to take a hands-on certification course for TEFL/TESOL because I wanted to learn SPECIFICALLY how to teach English as a foreign or second language. The instruction, expectations, lesson planning and teaching experiences far surpassed my expectations and I feel so much more prepared than I would have been without this knowledge and experience. I realized that even though I have experience teaching, I had ZERO experience teaching EFL, and it definitely matters. The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, helpful and they hold students to high expectations and standards. TEFL Campus Phuket was a great experience; and, if you are considering a new career in EFL teaching, you will be very well prepared by this course.

I have no teaching background and wasn't sure where to start.
I was looking for a foundational course to begin a career in teaching.
I came across TEFL Campus, Phuket which seemed encouraging, also the location was another factor why I chose it. I didn't go wrong with my choice.
The faculty, Eric and Simon, are very supportive, constantly giving feedback with constructive criticism. They are always available for guidance. That said, its not an easy task. A lot of effort and time has to be spent on studying and completing assignments in time as its an intensive program.
The teaching lessons to the local students give you good practice and confidence. Grammar and phonetics is part of the course which you will learn thoroughly.
If you are passionate about teaching English with no teaching experience, this is the place to get started. Good luck!

It has been an amazing month. It was very challenging but the end result was worth it. Eric and Simon are great at what they do and they make you feel like anything is possible. I enjoyed and appreciate the time I spent with TEFL Campus Phuket studying for my TEFL Certificate.

The facility is small but clean and convenient. It met all the needs I had as a student. The classrooms are a good size, not too big and not too small. The kitchen is very clean with a refrigerator, water, coffee, and cookies. They even have plates, cups, and utensils for communal use to help cut down on plastic waste.

The teaching staff is very knowledgeable and competent to teach others how to teach. They were helpful during our evaluations giving criticism while being kind instead of harsh. We were always given opportunities and suggestions to improve.

The administrative staff is just as competent and willing. On the rare occasion they didn't know what we needed they knew exactly where to direct to help us find answers.

I was very pleased with this course. But, don't underestimate the pressure. This is promoted as a university level course and it certainly is. You are not merely handed anything. It is a lot of work and will require plenty of study time.

I know some courses cost more and some less but I feel I received a good value for my money. I feel confident knowing that I worked for my certificate and am qualified to begin a teaching career.

TEFL Campus Phuket was exactly the right place for me.

The staff at TEFL Campus make you feel welcome and part of the family. Highly recommend this course for the learning experience and as well as the great location.

What a great time spent learning, gaining experience and a TEFL certificate at TEFL Campus in Phuket, Thailand.
Stressful and challenging at times but in the end rewarding.
Great knowledgeable instructors who were always available for support and assistance when needed. The onsite teaching practice with local Thai students is a great way to introduce us to the experience of being a teacher.
I will be recommending TEFL Campus Phuket to other aspiring English language teachers. Cheers

Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 week TEFL course at TEFL Campus in Phuket Town, and also learnt a great deal.
Notable aspects included:
* the professionalism, experience and knowledge of the trainers Eric, Simon and Diana.
* the opportunity to teach real students English in a classroom setting.
* the opportunity to improve grammar, phonology and teaching skills in general.
* Phuket Town itself (food, culture and vibe is excellent).
* meeting interesting people from all corners of the world.

I had an amazing 4 weeks intensely training to become an TESOL certified teacher in Phuket. Even though the course is challenging at times, remember 'why you are training' and you will get through :). My why, is to one day teach others to learn this global language so they might better their lives in the future. I am very grateful to all the incredibly helpful and knowledgable team at TEFL Campus Phuket for teaching me the essential abilities needed to become a great teacher. If you are are in the Phuket area or recently new Chaing Mai campus and want to pursue a rewarding career in teaching English, I highly recommend visiting the campus, chatting with team and taking the plunge, you'll be glad you did!
