The miso soup warms the soul. Best way to say it. It's amazing and the best in Columbus. Every Tofu dish I have ordered has also been fantastic. Great flavor, orders are always correct and packed perfectly and the service is fantastic! Give them a try, you really won't regret it! These guys have a great thing going!

If you are looking for chinese food on campus and looking for somewhere cheap for the money this is the best place to go to. They can even make items not spicy without hassling you and their egg drop soup is the best.

I have been to this place several times.
I have enjoyed many items on the menu.
There is a Pan-Asian kind of menu, with Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc. , dishes all featured. If they would only get some succulent Asian BBQ pork spareribs on the menu, then I would give them 5 stars.

Awesome

Excellent value! We ordered 3 main dishes (two chicken, one vegetarian, all with rice), a large order of hot and sour soup, 10 pork dumplings, and 2 spring rolls. The total was $34.50! The cost of delivery was less than $3. And I tipped the driver.
The food was delivered correctly within 40 minutes! The taste was very good and the portions were reasonable. (I prefer these portions rather than the super-giant, high-priced portions at Tai Bistro a place I also like, but they don t deliver.) Note: Next time I might not order the sweet-sour chicken for delivery because most of the crunch was gone by the time it arrived, but that s normal for hot food traveling in airtight containers. And we live at the far edge of the delivery range, so I totally understand.) However, the broccoli was oerfect
The order came with plenty of soy sauce, mustard, and a delicious dipping sauce for the dumplings, which were really really good, very plump and flavorful. The photo shows only a tiny part of the mountain of food we received. And we got a free egg roll; I don t remember ordering it. It was delicious.
Very friendly service by phone - nicest people! I will order again and again. THANK YOU!

Well I offer a mixed review. It really does boil down to a matter of taste. I ordered delivery. I consider myself somewhat of an expert because I have eaten asian food all my life; but I also cook and prepare it for others as well. So on with the review. Service was very friendly and nice. Taste - Very commercial. It was not bad tasting but it wasn't good either. Very pedestrian, I have tried all but 5 asian places here in Columbus. This one is right dead in the center. We had three orders. One was the hibachi steak and shrimp, another was the hibachi shrimp and chicken. The third was Moo Goo Gai Pan. We also ordered bbq chicken wings and crab rangoon. The chicken was out of this world. The rangoon were ok, the wrap itself was too thick; causing really laborious chewing. So for customer service - I give it 4 1/2 stars, presentation - 4 stars, taste-3 stars

Confused by the high reviews. Ordered hibachi steak and shrimp for $9.25 and spent $4 too much. Shrimp was not de veined and was fishy and rubbery. Steak was drenched in hoisin sauce. Fried Rice was actually pretty tasty. Will not be back.

I see from some of the previous reviews that I'm probably not going to say anything new here. My first visit was this evening, Christmas Day. The wait for the food was ridiculous, 45 minutes. Now that I see that this is a chronic problem for Taste of Orient, I'm more annoyed because I thought the problem was Christmas. The food was a very pleasant surprise after the long wait: a large delicious entree with fresh steamed broccoli and spring roll neither of which was expected. Management needs to get its kitchen act together. They may want to steal some ideas from Tai's on Lane Avenue that handles 10x the number of patrons and still gets a hot delicious meal out of crazy-busy kitchen in 10 minutes or less.

I've come here for years and never been disappointed and maybe it's my hunger rage speaking after work, but I'm finding myself frustrated for the first time with the way a member of their staff treated me. I came in my pajamas and the man behind the counter was talking with a customer and openly started laughing at me.
I don't care if you make fun of me, have at it, but at least wait until I leave.
