Feeling Roped OFF
Had glasses made, pandemic, glasses sat for over one year. Called for me to pick up and an adjustment. The cost was $188.00 plus what ever my insurance paid. The reading area was so low I could not see out of them unless I shoved them up tight to my nose bridge and tilted my head back. They were suppose to have an area at the bottom for reading, like progressives. They said they could not make an adjustment because over one year on Prescription. I told them to throw them in the trash. They said well if you split the difference we will get new lenses. Ok. I paid $60.00 more I paid on debit card, I picked up the glasses and did not notice that they gave me 1/2 rounds coke bottles at the bottom. I am so angry. These glasses cost probably 400.00 and they are not what I ordered. So now I have coke bottle glasses. Been with them for 20 years and I got ripped off.
