Tampa Convention Center Review

It's a huge place. Only complaint is that it isn't quite up to ADA standards. And that security should all be on the same page about bringing in food and drink. If someone has a medical condition, there should be no questions asked. If something were to happen to them inside and they were denied bringing food, they could be sued.

Beautiful and historic place of Tampa, you can not miss it if you arrive in Tampa or if you are in Florida it is worth a trip

Tampa Bay comic con was fun and is improving each year. Spoon it will be one of the big ones.

Meetings on lower floors, displays top floor, a difficult blend.

I did a home show af the TCC for Condominiums, Property Managers, and Homeowner Associations, but was not too impressed with the turnout or the venue. The food for the attendees was awful and expensive for what it was....parking is a problem. I believe the inconvenience to that location and finding parking contributed to poor attendence.

Parking is terrible and marked poorly. The center was nice, but odd layout.

Finally made it to Tampa late of course and we're just sitting here on the tracks a/c turned off. No staff is making any announcements. Now we're going backwards.

My third, Comic-Con I love the place they kept it really cool in there and it was an enormous indoor venue

An amazing place to have conferences or attend events.

Great venue. Will be hosting events there throughout 2017

Needs more parking for this place specifically. I was here for a conference and it was at the same time as a Lightning game. Had to pay the high event parking even if I didn't attend the event.

Awesome hockey game, pricey beer though and no wine.

This is a lovely and well designed space with great water views. There are a lot of stairs, but there are also elevators. I have enjoyed every visit here. Parking can be difficult, but parking generally is in that area. Thank you for such a nice building!

I was here for the FMEA convention that comes yearly, and it was a great experience for myself and my development. The convention center was nice, but the huge crowds overwhelmed the cleaning staff, and as the event went on, the convention center became messier and messier, but the staff would always make it very clean over night. It was a very nice place to hold the convention and to attend.

Outside the convention center was beautiful setup for the Gasparilla pirate parade of ships. I recommend everybody go next year. It was a wonderful setup for people who paid for an outside event, and there was even a great place for the people that didn't pay.

Clean, easy to get to. Plenty of bathrooms and concession food looked great. Good police presence for event.

Beautiful place to ride your bike or take a walk with your love ones

Seriously lacking parking these days. And will probably get worse with the construction boom

It's open, sits on the water, staff is friendly and you can eat w/o leaving the building.

We assisted to the Tampa Comi Con and really have a nice time, the organization and security was very good.

Outside seating by the water. Good music. Nice atmosphere. good Strong drinks. Delish food.

I go to a lot of convention centers. They kept bathrooms the cleanest! Big deal ha

Got a $40 ticket for parking where the morning attendant insisted I park. Staff at end of day called her at home and verified my story but sneering rentacop only pretended to go into a back room and delete the ticket. Got a bill a month later; I live two hours away, went ahead and paid it. Attendants who tried to help me that night said every day the city comes and searches up and down all the cars for things to write tickets on. Moneymaking scam masquerading as a service for visitors.

Well maintained and staffed. We had our daughters AAU nationals gymnastics meet and very accommodating although seating wasn't great and other gym parents were rude

I love this place! Metrocon was so much fun here, I'll bet any event or function done here will be just as great! .
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of how over priced everything is. One water bottle alone can cost around $2.50.
Also the waiting lines are awkwardly organized. It would be helpful if there were more places at the door to buy tickets.
But this really is an amazing place and if a person only goes to a few events a year, the inconveniences don't really matter.

Traveled to the Riverwalk in downtown Tampa via the Cross Bay Ferry. We boarded the ferry behind the St Petersburg History Museum and had a lovely trip across Tampa Bay. We strolled a portion of the Riverwalk near the Convention Center. It was a very nice experience and one I would recommend

Enjoyed the event here. Parking garage conveniently located. Easy to pay before you exit. Convention Ctr was well lit and comfortable.

Absolutely no security anywhere. No ticket takers or bag checkers at all. Found it scary to be in such a crowded convention room without any authorities in view. I won't return.

Location is nice, right on the water. The annual show we have here always does have issues with maintenance during set up.

A very large venue that can handle most of all convention needs, easy to get to and easy to get around in. Good location right at the waterfront boardwalk, lots of hotels, lots of restaurants, bars and sports stadium.

Great location on the bay, large facility for hosting big events, within walking distance of good eats.

I love it here. So many memories and going to be making more.

Plus Harpoon Harry's Restaurant just opened at the Tampa Convention Center!!

MetroCon is held here and I love it because the TCC has huge and beautiful open spaces. The outside landmarks leading to the TCC make for great sight seeing and picture taking. I love how it's next to the river, too.

Additionally, the facilities are generally kept clean. I'm glad there are well-lit areas, as well, because you never know what type of people you will meet at MetroCon. It's good to make convention centers a safe place for everyone and for people to feel that way.

Every event I have attended here has been pleasant and well-organized.

My family went for my step daughters all state chorus concert. It was a great venue with a lot of space. Everything ran on schedule with no issues.

Team work involved in being a productive person if working, and/or beautiful place to be with others or alone. Helpful hands and creative structure to share the wares of social commerce and future economic sustainability and Tampa Bay's forward path in American movement for making means to a go ahead go farther. Great food and service.

Not what it used to be. For the money you spend at what little of cars manufacturers are there I'm not gonna go anymore..

Been here for Metrocon! Anime convention. Great place and venue,pretty spacious and the view is amazing especially at night. Plenty of commodities around as well. Couldn't ask for a better convention center.
