Entrance is too pricy, restaurant on top floor offers hi quality but expensive food in a great ambiance and, of course, a great view. The exhibition about DNA is not worth to visit, why wasting my time with that? Better show history and technical info about the tower itself. Good toilets on exhibition (top) floor.

We visited Tallinn TV Tower today.

At the end of our visit, as we were trying to get a few items at the gift shop my 9-year-old daughter was approached by the store manager and accused of making a 1-inch tear in the back cover of a small notepad sold there for 2.30. The manager demanded that we purchased the notepad now that it was damaged.

We were about to purchase 35-worth of souvenirs and just spent 60 between the entrance fee and the coffee we had at the cafe upstairs. And yet there we were, embarassed in front of everyone for allegedly damaging a small souvenir item. Video surveillance was mentioned if we didn't agree to pay there and then.

I don't know if my daughter made that little tear in the notepad. It was a 2.30 little thing. The fact that we already spent almost 100 and were about to spend more to bring some mementos home meant nothing to that woman. She wanted us to pay 2.30 and she was prepared to call security and start reviewing surveillance tapes to prove my 9-year-old was responsible for the tear. A tear! in the notebook.

I paid 2.30 to avoid further humiliation and leave. I would never go back and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I don't know if this sort of treatment is customary here or if we just caught the manager on a bad day.

If you ever visit Tallinn, I highly recommend the view points in the old town. The views are gorgeous and free. If you are looking to pay 40 (3 adults and a child) to see the same views and be treated like criminals by the staff - TV Tower is definitely the place to check out.

If you have heights fears, make sure to brace yourself. Otherwise, a very informative museum for one of the most important battles in Estonia s fight for freedom! You can walk on the outside terrace if you re brave!

A grandiose structure on the outskirts of Tallinn. The TV Tower is next to the Botanical Gardens. The entrance fee is quite expensive, but well worth it. The tower has some interactive entertainment and a restaurant with very tasty desserts.

A very cool attraction 30-40mins away from the city center.
The ticket is 13 with discounts for family or students.
You can also buy the combo ticket with the Botanical garden very close by.
With a different ticket you can also have a walk on the edge of the tower connected to a safety line but basically free from fences or glass.
Amazing panorama over the whole Estonia and with a clear sky you can actually see Finland.
Strongly recommended at the sunset.

Simply amazing! Very interesting and informative exhibition about D.N.A. and genetics. The view is breathtaking. Very easy to get to with Bus 34A which stops near the Teletorn. Definitely not to be missed. The coffee shop is also very nice and the food and drinks are pretty cheap.
