Taj coromandel Review

I keep visiting this place since 1989 mostly to the bar and few weddings, birthday parties etc. Today I attended a wedding reception the food was amazing especially mutton briyani,,,

Opulence is the best word to describe the place.
Must stay to feel pampered.

This an old property of Taj with a rich collection of heritage art artifacts. We have found that north india food during dinner and buffet breakfast is awesome. Veg Thai Curry is worth mentioning. We have found that many staff members are senior by age and courteous. Go for a tour to a heritage property.

Excellent ambience together with quality, tasty food make one's day thoroughly pleasant and enjoyable.

Very nice place, with all modern amenities. Stayed there for a couple of days and the stay was very comfortable . Just like any other Taj, the customer service was excellent.

One of the most poor hospitality services I have seen

One of the most beautiful ambience in Chennai. Had been there a number of times for corporate meetings. I am not very sure about the food they serve at restaurant but the dinner they served during these seminars was one of the worst I ever had in Chennai, May be it was due the fact that to make it economical for number of people they just decreased the quality but that is not what is expected from a hotel like Taj. The chapati and naan were pathetic. Currys were okay. Only the dessert were worth it.

How do you define hospitality..Taj properties in India... simply go it will be a live demo.... True..no exaggeration.. if you are a senior citizen your complimentary breakfast is served in the room . If for any reason , complimentary milk sachet kept in the room , you dont like , they replace it hot milk but you should know to ask ... you can also choose fruit basket of your choice ... in other words take care to care your demands.. speak to chef to design food that can romance with your palate...Some of the scintillating faces of Taj Coromandel Chennai: Manoj Mishra Director fnb the architect of Customer care , Ravi Varma pastry chef ( Ask for gluten free otems), Sujan Mukarjee the Exec. Chef , Subbu the master of pamper, K Balaji, E Balaji , Jai Shankar who has taken care of my garlic ginger requirement to support intake of medicine..Deiva kannan, Brandon, Francis, Ashley who served complimentary BF @ room Senthamarai Kannan, Shiva Kumar, Vignesh Sujan Sivakumar Billa the host , Bala Dharma HK, & Chandra shekhar & Govind Gym and the list is endless

This must be the best hotel I have stayed in ever.....staff fantastic, facilities fantastic, rooms fantastic, service fantastic, food fantastic.

I had been to the continental restaurant for weekend dinner with family. The food was excellent. Banquet spread was good and food was delicious. Ambiance was good.

A very good restaurant I've visited a beautiful experience for me. An interesting incident happened to my mother who accompanied there the incident is she lost her ear ring but she didn't notice it but the waiter there noticed that and returned that safely to my mom this proves the truthfulness of the people working there

No life in the hotel. It used be bubbling and full of life. Now feels like deserted.. really sad

Very well maintained place. The staff were very courteous and helpful and the hotel itself was very beautiful and classy. Enjoyed the visit.

Hotel is very nice, but rooms should be much better because they are charging very high room rent. Service & food is very good. The name itself represents class but needs an up gradation.
