I just came to talk, and then I read little on the internet and it was all clear to me. The manager, the owner, although they may have been a professor there, has spoiled everything. Get some internet access.

One can "buy" a diploma somewhere while Socrates offers knowledge. Who wants to learn, Socrates is the right address. Three languages taught / upgraded with them and I keep going! All praise for the methodology of work.

All praise and my recommendation ... professionalism and kindness, expertise at the level. A clean five from me and see you in the fall.

Very good experience. I had two courses from B2 to C1 in the Croatian language and I am really satisfied. I work in detail on grammar, phonetics and pronunciation. I recommend the best in Zagreb :)

Top school of foreign languages thanks to a very good system and investment in learning methods and program development. I am impressed by the offer of various languages (including Croatian, which is great for foreigners for example and we all know how difficult Croatian is to learn) and the professional, quality approach.

I am already in my third semester at this school and would recommend it to anyone! Kudos to Professor Gabi who dedicates herself to each student. It is done in small groups which is great. Even now when we are not allowed to go out, we have classes through ZOOM which is a great thing because we can learn English in the same way as if we were going to school!

I learned and am still learning how to speak German language in this school. The teaching program is well organized with lots of materials, professors are always there to help you and full of patience, they handled corona virus pandemic with great responsibility. Overall, I couldn't recommend any better school than this one :D

Really great individual attention by Sokrat teachers Jelena and Gabi allowed my 5 and 7 yo to learn basic Croatian in 4 months over the zoom 10000 miles away. Their constant attention and strategics made learning fun and got kids constant attention! Great for long distance over the zoom learning!

The best foreign language school in Zagreb! Recommendations to everyone!

A school with a tradition that has existed for a reason for decades. The only school with world standards and the only choice for a client who knows how to recognize quality.

In Socrates, I attend online business language courses. Classes at Zoom are excellently organized, and the program is tailored to the profile of the participants in the group. It suits me that there are only three of us in the group, which means that we all have enough space for conversation, and we can easily agree on a date that is not fixed, but we arrange meetings on a weekly basis. Every other week we have guests from various business areas from different countries. Some of the guests were e.g. lecturers from three U.S. colleges, and once even a professor of macroeconomics from South Africa. In fact, by enrolling in this course, I gained far more than I expected in a foreign language course. This is like the Faculty of Economics in condensed form. The school management invests a lot of effort in the quality of the program, modern materials used in the course and in the relationship with the client. In short: wholehearted recommendations, it is inconceivable that it could be better.

Top location, phenomenal space and the most professional service in Croatia. This is a school with extraordinary standards! Not seen in Croatia yet !!!

I am very pleased with the course in Socrates. Small groups and great dynamics. In these difficult times, we have moved to a virtual classroom on Zoom and everything works great. Another compliment because they have, the only one, Hebrew.

Native speakers who know how to explain grammar to a student are the best combination for me. And we found that in Socrates!
I study Italian in Socrates, and my husband French. We opted for individual courses because we have a dynamic job in tourism and cannot fit into some group schedules, and we need a specific language of the profession, training for various business situations, writing documentation, sales, presentations, correspondence with clients, website maintenance. ..sva ta.
We started at A2 level and are now C1. Both of our professors even speak Croatian, so this is sometimes welcome for occasional keyword translations, although Socrates insists on using a language that is learned all the time.
I am most proud of our pronunciation of the languages we learn because our clients constantly praise us for it and the rich vocabulary. Every foreigner is honored to see how much effort someone has put into learning their language.
If you need a language for business I don't think you should go to group courses. They are certainly useful, but no one in a group course can learn how to negotiate the price of Italian pool tiles, nor can they learn how to run a yoga retreat in French. The individual course is literally worth every penny!

Frisco I finished the winter semester for B1stage. At the final exam, I had 68%. All praise for Professor May. She showed professionalism, expertise and innovativeness in lectures. I must admit that she was able to draw on my current and interesting topics and social games in German to draw my interest for active interaction in the class, but also to encourage me to pay more attention to grammar, and to become "Der Korinthenkacker" myself. Consequently, praise and management for a good professor. Thank you from the heart.

I have been working in Socrates as a German language teacher for some time and I can say that I am extremely satisfied with my work and collaborative relations with colleagues and director Abramac because I feel professionalism, but also kindness and leisure in the way they treat me. I like that the Socrates school of foreign languages is flexible, so it adapts accordingly to both employees and course participants. The possibility of attending online classes is a great advantage for students who can become part of our "family" from the comfort of their home, but also for us professors who do not necessarily live in Zagreb. Based on the feedback I received from my students, I think they are happy with our use of modern teaching methods and materials and that their teaching is not monotonous because we focus on practical conversational skills, and we teach grammar through games and interesting didactic activities. I dare say that participants leave the course equipped with a sufficient amount of knowledge to be able to use the newly learned language in real life. Moreover, I notice that I myself have learned a lot through this job and developed many competencies.
