Very cute playhouse. The show we saw wasn't bad but for ten bucks a pop, it was kind of expensive. It's okay though because contributing to community theater is a good thing!

Just saw My Fair Lady and it was the best play I have seen in years... Put the movie to shame.
Nice place, easy to get to and to park. Dedicated to great musical theater, with clean restrooms, hospitality for guests, and reasonable ticket prices.
I have really enjoyed being a season ticket holder! I highly highly recommend going to see a show at the Tacoma Musical Playhouse!!
We Love it
My grandson said going to the musical spoiled regular television for him.
He had a great time and we plan on going to see the musicals often.
It was a wonderful performance, good family fun.
Great job presenting Mama Mia. Some really funny choreography you can't miss!
Great place for live theater. Everything I've seen there has been awesome!
Great for a community theater! Free parking. Light refreshments and incredible actors, conductor and orchestra! Nice sets too! Friendly staff and easy to order tickets.
They also have water fountains (adult & kid sizes) for those on a tite budget.
Never been here before and was so pleasantly surprised at the comfort and size of the theater plus the show was absolutely great. Will definitely be back.
Great local theatre that puts on a variety of productions all year. I would highly recommend seeing any Disney musicals they put on. They are magical for the younger audience and surprisingly hilarious for the adults in the crowd. They other serve show specific drink specials before the show and during intermission using locally produced spirits. They also have a snack bar with the basics of candy, baked goods, and soda.
Took my granddaughters there for my birthday it was great.
I love the Tacoma musical playhouse. We most recently saw Mama Mia.the actors were amazing, so much energy on the stage. The singing was divine.the band fell a touch short, but it only added to the endearing quality the show.
The staff needs some customer service training, always rude and they make you feel like your bothering them! The ADA accessibility is a JOKE! If someone your bringing or even you need a walker or wheel chair this will be a challenging venue to visit!
Visit at least once a month, great family establishment!
Great as always. Good cast and very good costumes. Get your tickets now
Support Regional Theater!... Tacoma is very fortunate to have such a great outlet where professional and community theater can mix. I seen a number of productions here. The latest was Rocky Horror Picture Show. They always do a wonderful job.
We saw White Christmas. The singing & dancing were wonderful, but we did not enjoy the "artisic liberties" on this wonderful classic. The brief dialogue between the General & the receptionist towards the end of the musical was totally inappropriate.
First times visiting and loved every minute of the performance and concessions
This is a great place for local plays. Good prices too.
Great little theatre with wonderful plays and musicals.
The best of the best show in Tacoma, the performers were awesome!
Great local theatre, with musicals that tend to be for the entire family. Highly recommend!
Saw Beauty and the Beast last night. Show was cast perfectly. Leads and the ensemble were amazing . Especially the emotion in their voices in each act. We talked and talked about how much fun it was on our way home and our favorite scenes and actors. Great for families too.
Just saw Elf it was so good. Everybody should see it.
Came here to see Spamalot. What a wonderfully funny show! Excellent cast, great performances. Playhouse a very nice venue. Clean and comfortable seating. Not a bad seat in the house. Good prices for tickets, snacks and drinks. Plentiful free parking.
Mama Mia was a fun performance. Great voices, sets, costumes. Impressive local theate.
My husband and I went to see my very favorite play here: The Drowsy Chaperone. The playhouse is beautiful on the inside, the bathrooms are gorgeous and very clean, and they offer so many options for concessions. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the rows of seats are really close together and the seats themselves aren't very comfortable. Everything else is very high quality and I'm really impressed!
Staff was really great. I liked that the cast of Elf was taking pictures with kids after the show
The cast for elf were amazing. Great energy great voices blending.
Great little theater. Wish the snack bar took credit card.
Went and saw Adams family. It was so funny and so much fun!
They do a very good job of presenting musicals, and the theater is close with easy parking.
Great theater and community. Some of the friendliest people in Washington, and the opening night of foot loose was great. Great theater overall
Excellent performances and great fun! Having such great live theater in the community is wonderful!
Great little local theater. Performance was very good. Building is a little old, but has character.
Long time patron of TMP. Love the consistently spellbinding performances.
Love all the musicals and this theater. Top notch, great price, and I don't have to drive to Seattle. Doesn't get much better than that!
Wonderful theater, the staff are excellent and they have programs for children to learn theater and perform. Tickets are inexpensive and they perform a variety of shows with the community and with schools.
The Addams Family was fabulous; much talent and fun displayed!!
Great local talent and service group. Community arts at the best level.
Had a wonderful evening. Parking available across the street. Family friendly pricing. Mary Poppins was awesome!
went to see full monty, had a very good plot, and i loved the teamwork they all showed, will remember always, enjoyed very much, the coffee and personality helped with the relaxed atmosphere in the loby
Always clean and amazing performances never been to one I didnt love!
This is a great little theater. I went to a production of Knuffle Bunny with kids for a school trip. The theater was comfortable and fairly spacious. The sets were eye catching and engaging. The actors were quite entertaining. All the children in the theater were rapt. Great productions from a local group. Check out a performance.
This is a great place but the people at the window are always rude and hateful.
The best theater around.... professional or not! The shows here rival Broadway productions!
Best musical theater experience anywhere. And you get so much for a very reasonable price. The talent is outstanding! Very comfortable seating and great volunteers. Great parking, too. This feels like home and family.
Tacoma Musical Playhouse is the largest and most well-funded of the theaters in the South Sound. They specialize in sprawling spectacles, and do them very well.
Been to several shows and have a season pass this year. Great community theater! Also has a behind the show before each production opens for you to preview a couple of numbers, get some background on the play, and meet the cast. Also has a couple of specialty drinks for each show to go with the theme
I always enjoy the performances, and love being there with family.
Great show, not comfortable seats. If crowded gets hot!
The best musicals without having to drive to Seattle. GREAT!
Have taken my grandson to many plays here. It's been a good experience for him. Level headed operation with no observable agendas.
The play was entertaining. Really enjoyed the narration and of course Adolfo was a hoot.
Great musicals played by great cast. Plays are affordable. Love going!
Just saw "Catch Me If You Can." Our first time at TMP. A great production in all respects. Standing ovation richly deserved. We'll be back!
