T. Gargour & Fils - Mercedes -Benz Review

Horrendous rude customer treatment. Opaque and cryptic maintenance reports. I will take my cars elsewhere the moment the 4 years warranty lapses.

We own 3 mercedes benz cars. The first one we owned was an ML350 2009 we bought back then in the factory. In less than a month, something failed in the car. It was repaired fairly quickly and was back running as good as it did. We then proceeded to buy a c180 in 2013. Same story. In less than 1 month, the car started leaking oil. It was also repaired relatively quickly. The last car we bought from mercedes benz was a 2014 e 200 cabriolet. Everything seemed to be going well until, a year and a half after it was bought, the engine failed. We sent the car to the dealership and after around 3 months, the car was back and running. We didn't get any car temporarily to compensate for that one undergoing repairs. I believe I should also mention that both the c and e we own have lost their ESP systems. The E class was repaired today, after waiting for around 2 months for the ESP part to come. I wouldn't recommend buying a vehicule from mercedes benz lebanon.

Did not get the help from the sales representatives especially in pre-owned department... they were simply not available for 1 hour, then i left...

Called 01877222 extension 1 no one answered.
Called again ext 2 showroom no one answered.
Called for a third try and waited for assistance , she referred me to the showroom ( no one answered again).
Called the 4 th time even the assistance didn't answer.
Wanted a quotation for a cherokee

Service at Gargour is 5 stars. The least you can expect from a Mercedes dealer and service center.

good staff and welcoming , though some spare parts not found and needs to be ordered .

What I loved is there are two buildings with 2 showrooms, one for new cars and the other for used ones.

BIG MISTAKE TAKING FOTON TO BE ONE OF YOUR BRANDS, very very bad quality and service BRAND, all parts of the pickup are vert low quality, u cant get 7 days without taking it back to garage, they make their profits by selling spare parts

Toufiq Gargour and sons is the local dealer and I think also for the middle east for three high class make brand: Fiat, Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, as well the lubricants: Fuchs, Elf and Cespa oil, and Michelin tires. And the mechanical service and a special restoration team.

The security stuff is more friendly than the sales stuff

What can you say other than its Mercedes-Benz.
I gave it 4 star as they have a very expensive maintenance schedule. But then again its Mercedes-Benz.
Sales ppl are a bit annoying as you will be the one to interact to get any info about the models found.

Friendliest employees over there. I love the cars too!

However Mercedes cars are very expensive!

If you are expecting Mercedes level of services go somewhere else. You can only guarantee the authenticity of the parts.

They charge insane amounts of money. They wanted 4000$ to fix the roof of my smart which costs 6000$.

Service is too expensive, customer service is just fine

A star for the lokation and a star for the cars both stars in the sense of 5 stars first class. But the rest is a disaster, neither customer service nor customer friendly Oden on it, customers are treated differently. .... very bad experience
