My sons have attend sylvan district for multiple years. This year we got a new superintendent that voiced that he would be available to us parents for questions or concerns. Yet all of our concerns have been ignored by the district and it is impossible to speak with Mr. Fridrickson.

Looks like a great place when you meet the district staff. When you get to the actual schools you learn that it's all a facade. The actual inner workings are a mess. I've personally caught adults lying just as much as kids. They may say it's a small lie, but it is what it is. If your children say the adults are mean, it's because they are. I worked there and saw firsthand how they don't care for the children's welfare. I would try to help a student with a gash in their knee only to be told they need to go to class. Your kid has mental health issues? Good luck. A counselor is only there 2 days, just like most of the staff. The janitors, food staff and a few teachers are the only people I would trust with my own child.
