We loved this place. They had a good assortment of indigenous animals and birds. My mom was thrilled to get her photo taken with a koala. The highlight for the rest of us was feeding the lorikeets.

Went there many times as I think the place got smaller over the years since it 1st opened.

It's still a good place to go if you don't wanna travel far to see and pet kangaroos and take cute photos of koalas.

However - NO PARENTS ROOM!!!
the "parents room" is just disabled toilet with an office chair! Extremely uncomfortable!

If you are a big family group that looks for a whole day to spend in a zoo then I think this place is only a half day tour. Though if you are like me who is a tourist only have half a day and want to see some koala kangaroo etc. It's perfect match. The zoo has lunch as well and you can order previously a coupon bundle on Groupon.

Re: lunar new year event.

They said come 45min-1hr before your booking. Our booking is at 6pm, we were there by 5pm, with two preschool kids in 33 degree weather. They said we can only come in at 6pm. Wish we had known to just come in at 6pm!!!!!

Very disappointing! ! Wouldn't waste my money ever again!! Hardly anything to see, possibly one animal. Annoying walking through corridors to get to exhibitions 2more walking than seeing anything. Old and out dated. Money making place with no benefit. False advertising as animals listed weren't evern there. No butterflies in the butterfly room, it was like spot the reptiles, no crocodile in the big tank. Just boring and waste. Very disappointing! !!!!!!

I met a cute koala. But guidance is very disappointing. Visited on the Saturday afternoon of August and there were various lines near the entrance. I had a prepaid ticket, but I don't know where to line it up. It turned out that the first ticket lined up was placed directly in 10 minutes. Next, it was lined up with more than 100 people, but after 15 minutes it turned out that it was the aquarium side. In the end, I realized that I should proceed as if I stepped on the green color. I applied for shooting with Koala, but I didn't know how to line up and waited for a while. About 10 people were pulled out. In addition, I don't know how to receive the photos taken together. If you look at various things, there are people in front of the machine. Apparently, I finally found that I could select my favorite photo with an automatic printing machine and print three copies. This is not kind to foreigners who are not good at English. Will you keep a guidebook for each language at least?

Wow amazing sanctuary for a small footage, home to so many faunas. A kittle surprised to see extra ticketing to get close to specific group of animals. The bird show and seal show both outstanding

All the popular Australian animals under one roof! If you re tight for time and you have already seen elephants, monkeys and lions in your life time, go for this. It s focused to bring you just animals of Australia. A great attraction for children and adults.

The biggest advantage is that you can see the koala from a close distance; the kangaroo area is very small and cannot be touched. If you want to interact with the kangaroo at a zero distance, you must go to the Currumbin Zoo on the Gold Coast.

The zoo was nice, as with all animal enclosures - it can be hit or miss on which animals are out and which ones are asleep. This day maybe half the animals were visable or had empty sections to see them. Willing to change the rating to 5* on a subsequent visit if more creatures are visable.

The animals are great for such a small location. Great seeing all the snakes and kangaroos. Definitely recommend paying a bit more for the picture with the koala. My teenagers loved getting that close to the koalas. The crocodile is amazing, I love how you can climb down into an enclosure under the pool.

Didn t quite know what to expect from the outside, but once inside we had an enjoyable time. Highly recommend getting the koala add on. I have not yet gone across the Harbour to the other zoo, but am looking forward to it. Also getting the multiple attraction pass is also recommended. $50 for 2 attractions is a good deal.

Great for kids and adults during low peak times.(Monday afternoon) We learned a lot from the trainers and staff during talk times, and even got to pet a kangaroo! We bought the 4 pass for other events online through a booking site which is cheaper than at the ticket counter. You can spend a good deal of time here, but prices for food, gifts, special photos, and souvenirs can be costly. Other than that I recommend

Not really much to see. You go through the whole zoo within 30 minutes unlike the SeaLife Aquarium which takes you nearly almost 2 hours. Trust me and save your money, it's not worth the $37. Your better of going to Taronga, Featherdale and the Blacktown Sydney Zoo. Preferably Blacktown. There's so much more to look at and its incredibly spacious and calming!

Actually it's not a real zoo. But at least we can learn a lot from this place about Australian animals, such as Koala, Kangaroo, Wombat or Wallaby. My favorite part is the giant Crocodile. You can spend your weekend here without any regrets. Recommended!

It's only a small place but quite interesting as only Australian animals. I quite liked that. Maybe at Taronga Zoo they should have an area like that as once in Australia you don't really want to see the Gorillas and Giraffes.
Enjoyed the keepers talks and took my time for pats and photos.
2 suggestions: Butterfly area could be improved as well as the coffee shop.
Quite a nice day!

An average zoo in Sydney.

An average zoo in Sydney.

I suggest that you purchase the 4 attractions package to visit all the places instead of purchasing tickets for the zoo only.
