Such a cool and different place than what we re used to.
There s the secret garden where you can get drinks/snacks and play cornhole or jenga.
The restaurant was great and the staff was friendly. Great food and wine.
The hot tubs are always amazing! They re private and romantic a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.

while the tubs for an hourly rate was super and peaceful the spa staff at the entrance need to cheer up! She obviously did not want to be there! Also, if you are a disabled person it is important to let one know how many steps you have to take before you can enjoy the tubs! Cathy

The hillside hot tubs are a great place to soak in the mineral rich waters.

The bar was small but had a great, super friendly bartender that seemed to really enjoy his craft. Made some interesting drinks for us.

The rooms have been redone in the last couple yrs but are still not up to brand new standards. But the private hot tub with each room is obviously the draw here.

The spa is one of the best couples massages I've ever had. A super relaxing atmosphere as well.

Great service from the front desk to the spa to the maintenance ppl

What a wonderful place to come and relax and rejuvenate. The mineral hot tub felt amazing, the shower was spacious and open the food was exquisite (we had room service 4 times)! We really enjoyed the spa treatments. You can rent bikes or go on hike straight from the resort. Beware the hike starts out with some quick elevation gains but you are treated to some stunning views at the peak. They also have hillside tubs you can rent and a pool( temporarily closed).

I love hot springs, been to many. This one is just ok because the price is too high for what you get. The hot tub in the room was nice but for $400 a night I expected more. They turn off the hot tubs and expect you to be quiet at 11. I don't see the point in paying for a room with a hot tub that I can't use all night. For a healing resort I expected better vibes but the spiritual atmosphere was very off. I would come back here if it was about 20% of the price. Cool but not that great.

I left a comment describing the less than great time my husband and I had due to a lack of privacy and people looking into our hot tub on the bottom floor. The resort commented back telling me to reach out to the Hot Tub manager. After speaking with him, they have resolved the privacy issue and worked to get my husband and I a better experience. I very much appreciate their customer service and hospitality. Thanks Mike!

One of my favorite mineral springs resorts in California, if not my #1 choice. The rooms are always clean and nice, and the mineral water in the baths is refreshing, relaxing, and healing. Plus, the location is prime in the midst of nature. If you re a fan of hiking, relaxing, and getting away from your hectic life, this is the place to go. You re also sure to enjoy your meal from the on-site restaurant.

Stumbled upon this gem while driving to the Bay Area from L.A.. We decided to check it out in person before making the decision to stay or continue on. Once we pulled in, the answer was clear. Such beautiful grounds inside and out! Every room has it's own mineral hot tub, plus many other well thought-out amenities and space. Bike rentals were easy, plus the staff was so friendly and accommodating. My best friend and I finally found our "meeting spot" halfway between where we both live! (We have talked about that for a while) Will definitely be back. Also, Avila Beach and surrounding town was sooooo cute, and close by. Can't wait to visit again when everything is open.

Had a wonderful time here with my sister and will be returning soon. The location is just beautiful with all of the greenery. The spas are nestled into their own private fortress. The one pictured is the Twilight spa.
