Wow! Talk about service called to order wood stain gave them the item number told me to come in 3 hours my order would be ready for pick up! Drove into the parking lot and waited my turn to get my order...amazing and quick! These other stores should follow suit. I have no desire to wait 2 days for a can of stain....Thanks Home Hardware for the quick and amazing service you and your staff are doing an amazing job!
Excellent hardware store with excellent staff. Lumber is stored properly and consequently of better quality than big box competitors that I literally drive past to shop here. Pricing is competitive and a recent special order was easy and faster than quoted. Delivery was professional and timely. In store tool selection is a little limited but not bad.
Really nice staff, great signage/arrows, and they have the best brands of wood stain in comparison to Home Depot and Lowe s.
Great service once you get through on the phone. The website needs work as I have had multiple issues with items only being able to be added to 'my list' instead of the cart.

Swanson's is definitely the better Home Hardware on the south east end of Kitchener. One on Victoria St is good too bus usually just for the smaller normal stuff. Swanson's always has everything you need plus your bigger home projects. Lumber selection is great. Always glad to support local stores and amazing Canadian company. Even during COVID they have adapted their methods to best serve their customers during such challenging times.
I uses to Home Depot or Lowe s because they are closer to my house but not anymore. The staff at home hardware is so friendly and helpful and I love the facts that I don t have to wait for days to pick up my orders. Thank you for you great customer service and competitive prices!
We recently renovated our laundry room and really wanted to work with somebody local for the cabinets. We went to Swanson s and met with Michelle. She has been wonderful to work with and as with any renovation handled the bumps with finesse. We will definitely be using Swanson s for building supplies for our next couple of renovations.
I did an online order after hours. My order was ready in under seven hours of the store opening the next day.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a lineup of cars. However, the lineup moved as fast as another Canadian chain, but instead of being asked to park, you left with your order.
I was impressed with how efficient things were run and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking fast and great service. I will not hesitate to place another order when needed.
