Wow! Talk about service called to order wood stain gave them the item number told me to come in 3 hours my order would be ready for pick up! Drove into the parking lot and waited my turn to get my order...amazing and quick! These other stores should follow suit. Excellent hardware store with excellent staff. Lumber is stored properly and consequently of better quality than big box competitors that I literally drive past to shop here. Pricing is competitive and a recent special order was easy and faster than quoted. Delivery was professional and timely. In store tool selection is a little limited but not bad.

Swanson's is definitely the better Home Hardware on the south east end of Kitchener. One on Victoria St is good too bus usually just for the smaller normal stuff. Swanson's always has everything you need plus your bigger home projects. Lumber selection is great. Always glad to support local stores and amazing Canadian company. Even during COVID they have adapted their methods to best serve their customers during such challenging times.
I uses to Home Depot or Lowe s because they are closer to my house but not anymore. The staff at home hardware is so friendly and helpful and I love the facts that I don t have to wait for days to pick up my orders. Thank you for you great customer service and competitive prices!
We recently renovated our laundry room and really wanted to work with somebody local for the cabinets. We went to Swanson s and met with Michelle.
