It's hard to push past 3.5 or 4 stars for this spot. As many have mentioned, the ambiance is very nice, especially if you can get a table on the patio overlooking the waterfall/lagoon. The "shows" in the lagoon were novel, though the frog singing wasn't for us. Took an upscale dining experience and Disney-fied it, not in a good way.
The steaks were delicious, though they switched the temperatures on our order which made for a delicious filet and a slightly disappointing NY strip. The foies was on point, as was the lobster, truffle gnocchi, but I'd pass on the Brussel sprouts unless you prefer them like southern collard greens.
Another drawback was the limited bar selection, where they were unable to produce two fairly notable whiskey cocktails due to the lack of spirits. Finally, service was unfortunately lackluster. The 5 minutes that passed to before being greeted gave our meal an odd start. We had to ask for a cocktail list as one was not provided which in turn meant no drinks for 15 minutes after being sat. After awkwardly being asked to order our meals in the mean time, that became the last time we saw our server until checking on the steaks (and doing nothing to rectify the temperature inconsistencies), and then finally at the end to deliver the check.
Glad we did it as it certainly made for a memorable occasion, yet we'll seek to find something new next time.
